You walk into the house. Alex is sat on the couch looking nervous as ever, his top button is undone and his tie is on the floor. He smiles when he sees you approaching him.
"You're something special, you know that?" he says. You smile and go and sit next to him. You kiss his cheek, and he puts his arm around you.
"What time is it," you whisper into his neck. He checks his watch and sighs sadly.
"Just gone midnight," he whispers, turning to face you.
