Penny has returned back to Korea after 18 years to find out that everything has changed. Her mum got remarried, she has a new sibling and the boy down the road is such a pain in the ass.

Brand new home in a brand new city. Feels great to be back in Seoul after 8 years. Miss Grandma and Grandapa, miss going to the fields and run along freely with my pet dog, Bilbo. My mum told me that my brother, Sunwoo will be here to pick me up. I hurry grab my luggage after finished scanning my passport.
"Penny! Pen! I'm over here!" I saw Sunwoo jumping up and down to get my attention and I laughed at him for being silly. I quickly make my way to him, past the busy crowds and hugged him tight.
"God! You've grown! You're almost the same height as me! And you've been prettier" I slapped his hand playfully and roll my eyes at him. It's been years since the both of us been separated. There is a reason for our separation but I don't wanna be remembered by our old past cause right now, I want to focus on living in the present.
"Grandma and Grandpa is expecting you and so does Bilbo" I smile and we both make our way to his car. "Woah! You have a car!"
"Yeah, Grandpa bought it for me cause he says I need it to drive to school and such so I don't have to borrow his,"
"Just how rich is Grandpa?"
"Richer than you think, sis" How much have I been missing while I'm in Canada? I mean Sunwoo keeps me up to date with all the things that is happening but even the smallest details he barely told me anything. The car ride back home is quiet, mainly because I was busy admiring how beautiful Seoul is and how much I miss Seoul. The weather, the beautiful parks they have, the food. Speaking of which.
"Oh, is that a grumble I heard?"
"Yeah man, 14 hours in a plane, with 3 meals per day to reach here. I am absolutely famished. Bring me to eat before I meet them" Sunwoo laugh and shake his head no. I groan and sink in further down my seat and back faced him. My eyes were getting sleepy and soon, I was drifted off to sleep.
"Hey! Pen, wake up! We have arrived" I slowly opened my eyes and were shocked to see that we weren't in the fields where Grandma and Grandpa lives. We are in a private estate! Whose house is this? "Why are you so shocked? Come on mum is waiting for you,"
"Wait, you trying to say that we lived here?" Sunwoo looks at the house and then back at me, "Yeah. I will explain everything but right now, carry your bags" He throw me my backpack and I swing it around my shoulders, trailing behind him. There is no way that we lived here. No, just no!
"Mum! Dad! Grandma! Grandpa! Look who is home!" Dad? But, I thought Dad. Out came the familiar faces that I remembered from the kitchen. They came to greet me and each gave me a hug. Bilbo came and pinned me down to the floor. I forgot just how big this dog is. "Hey buddy! Miss me?" He starts licking my face and I ended up laughing.
"Hello, nice to meet you" I look up to see who is talking to me when I see a unfamiliar face. I stand up, pushing Bilbo aside and smile, returning his hand that was sticking out for me to grab it. "Hi, Penny"
"Wonderful. I'm your new dad, in case you are wondering" I nod and smile at him. I look at Sunwoo and he quickly look down, scratching his head. "Great! Now the family is full. Let's have dinner" I nod, following them to the dinning table.
The table was packed with side dishes such as kimchi, grilled eel covered with barbecue sauce, soybean bean sprouts and much more. "I'm getting hungry! Can we eat now?" All of them laughed at me and mum told us to help ourselves to the dishes there. Sunwoo and I pick a lot of side dishes and starts digging in as if we never ate for days.
"Calm down the both of you," The both of us looked up and 'Dad' was smiling at us and shake his head. Sunwoo glares at him and put his utensils down, "Right, Pen, meet Dad, Dad meet Pen, Mum and Dad has been married for 18 years now and uh, we kinda have a new edition to the family," I choked on my food and Grandma patted my back. I quickly take a sip on my glass of water and let out a relief sigh. "I have another brother?"
"Sister to be exact." I smile widely, I have always wanted to have a little sister. And Mum and Sunwoo knows it damn well that I wanted a sister and god helped me achieve it. After dinner, I followed Sunwoo up to my bedroom whom I am sharing with my sister. He open the door and there is a bunk bed. She was sitting on the top bed with two cats looking at her. The room was aesthetically painted in purple and her shelf was filled with books, and a camera. There were pots hanging on her ceiling.

She turns around and put down her headphones. "Seriously Elaine? Mum called you for dinner to have a reunion"
"Nah, it's not my thing. Who's the fling?" Fling? What? Does Sunwoo- no. God, no.
"This fling is your older sister who I keep mentioning about." Her eyes lit up and she quickly went down the ladder to have a full look at me. "Wow, you are pretty. How old are you?"
"I'm 22"
"God, I'm still the youngest. But yay, our family is finally complete!" I smile at her enthusiasm. She is so big and it's sad that I couldn't see her when she was still a baby, her first step, her first word. "I'm Elaine, 18 years old." I smile and ruffles her hair. It's a thing that I do when I find someone cute or adorable.
"I'll get you settle in" I nod and look around her room. "Hm, you like aesthetic theme huh?" She nods. I sit on the bed and lay down.
"Mum say that bed belongs to you. She cleaned it everyday. She says that you like aesthetic theme too. So I decorated this place if you don't mind"
"Oh, no! I don't mind! It's beautiful. Love it." I heard meowing from above and I decided to look at the two cats who is now staring at me. Both of the cats climb down the ladder and walks up to me carefully. "The grey cat is Lucifer and the dark brown is Earl"
"And how is Bilbo coping with two cats in the house?" Elaine laughs and looks at me. "He was scared to approach them but Lucifer opened up and starts showing affection towards him. That's where they get along. Earl and Bilbo takes a longer time because Earl is terrified of big things." I bend down to give a scratch on Lucifer's head.
"I know this is out of the blue and I barely know you but, I am kinda happy that you are back. Ever since mum said you are coming back to Seoul last 2 weeks, I was super duper excited. She showed me pictures of you and tell me good stuff about you. But." I look up at her when she paused. I stand up and pulled her into a hug, "Hey, I'm here now aren't I?" She nods and tighten the hug.
