"... upfront is the cafeteria, and this is where we will have our lunch with my other friends and sister." Chanhee nods, not knowing what to do or say so I asked him to sit down and wait patiently for the others to come. "You recently moved here or?"
"Yeah, I moved here from another school. I don't even know your name,"
"Penny! You can call me Pen," He nods and once again starts looking around awkwardly. Right, I don't do well with this awkward vibe so Amy, please come quick and lighten up the mood! "Yo Casual!" Ugh, speaking of the devil! I wave at Amy and Chanhee's eyes followed my hand at to who I was waving too. Amy stop her tracks and look at who has joined us for lunch. Her brows raised and carefully takes a seat beside me. "New friend?" I nod.
"Hi, I'm Amy! And you are?"
"Chanhee. Nice to meet you, Amy?" Amy smiles and turns to me. "Where the rest at?" I shrug and saw Ellie and Elaine both running to our table. "I won!" "Aw Elaine! That's not fair! I have a laptop with me," Elaine sticks her tongue out and laugh and took the seat beside Chanhee. "Hi! You must be new, I'm Elaine and this is Ellie!" Ellie waves and Chanhee nods. I nudged Amy and she sighs. She's really good at making the atmosphere light.
"Alright, let's play a game. Whoever loses buy for our lunch from that mini pop-up stall. Agree? Oi, newbie! You in this game too," Chanhee nod and all of us played scissors, paper, stone. After 2 rounds, it was finally down to Chanhee and Amy, surprisingly, Chanhee is really good at this game. "Scissors......"
"Paper....."
"Stone!" Chanhee throws a rock while Amy shows scissors. "No!" The three of us laugh and pass our money to Amy. She groans and takes the money with her, dragging Elaine along. "Does she knows what all of us wants?" I shake my head and saw Elaine run back towards us, "Amy ask if it's okay with you guys, that she will buy the same thing for us four?" We all agree and Elaine runs back to Amy. I was scrolling through my phone when I felt someone back hugged me. Right, I wonder who it is. Hyunjae turns his head and takes the seat beside me. "Hi, sweetheart,"
"Amy is sitting there." "She wouldn't mind sitting beside Ellie," I frown and push his hands away that was on my waist. I haven't sat with Amy for lunch like for the longest and this boy came here, taking up her spot. I miss my best friend too! "No, sit beside our new friend, Chanhee!" Hyunjae hums and looks at the guy opposite us, "Hey bro, Hyunjae, you?"
"Chanhee," they did the weird-ass handshake and then Hyunjae took Amy's bag and put it beside Ellie. Ellie was busy doing her work on her laptop and was talking to Chanhee while at it too. The way Hyunjae sits is like how you sit on a horse, so he pulls me in and place his chin on my shoulders and wrapped me in. "I miss you,"
"Ugh, Hyunjae? Bring your romantic ass somewhere else! Why are you sitting on my spot!?" Hyunjae rolls his eyes and stands up. I frown when he let go of me. Amy must have noticed when I frown so he asked Hyunjae to continue sitting beside me. Not gonna lie, I like it when Hyunjae side hugged me. "Aren't you gonna eat?" Hyunjae shakes his head. "I ate a banana just now so I'm still quite full besides, I'm going out later with the boyz, you guys wanna come? Sangyeon will be there," Ellie and I turn to Amy and I swear to god, I saw her blush. Ellie and I teased her while Amy gets all so defensive.
Elaine and Chanhee have this huge ass question mark on their faces. I laugh and show them a picture of Sangyeon. Both their eyes widen when they saw his picture. "He is... something," Chanhee gulps and so did Elaine. I spat Elaine's arms and scolded her, "He is too old for you!" Elaine frowns and turns to Amy, "But not too old for Amy, if that man is coming, let's all go together!" Amy's eyes widen and shake her head. All of us laughed at her and Hyunjae snuggle even more tightly.
