Chapter twenty eight

The next day, I told Grandma that Amy and I won't be attending school for two-three weeks. She did ask why but then she remembered what happened last night so she allowed it. My stuff is probably there so I don't have to pack a lot of stuff. "I can't believe we are flying to Canada!"

"Remember, we are only there to fix my shit up. And I need you since you know how to handle it better than I do," Amy nods and shoves her clothes into a duffle bag. No luggage since my clothes will still be there. We make our way down the stairs and meet up with Mum and Dad who will be sending us to the airport. "Have you told your father about your arrival Penny?" I nod, "How about you Amy?"

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm an exchange student. I live at an apartment, with no parents, so I'm cool," Mum and Dad definitely were shocked to hear it but they both let it slide and well another person did accompany us to the airport. Yes, you guessed it right, Lee Hyunjae. I turn to face him, "I can handle it you know,"

"I'm coming along. Your parents bought the tickets for me. I'm coming whether you like it or not." I look over to Amy and she shrugs not knowing what to do either. I then let out a defeated sigh and intertwined our hands together, "You will be sleeping on the couch," He nods and smiles at me. We soon reach the airport just on time for our 10 am flight. I carried my backpack and Amy brings out her duffle bag and so did Hyunjae. "Okay, um, have fun? But not too much fun. And once you settle everything there, come back here immediately!"

"Yes mum, I'll be fine." I hug her once more and hug my stepdad too. "It's time to go," We pull away and wave goodbye. The three of us got our seats right next to each other. After checking in for our hand-carry luggage, we take a seat in the waiting area and rest up. Amy took out her jacket because it's really cold in here. I did too and put it on.

Hyunjae did the same and he was wearing a hat to cover up his messy hair. "You still look handsome even thou your hair is messy," Hyunjae blushes and pinch my nose. "Don't make my heart flutter!"

Attention all passengers, could business class passengers please alight the plane first.

Our tickets were economy tickets so we have to wait for our seat to be called.

After clearing out both the business class and passengers with children, all three of us heads in the plane. We walked down the cramped aisle to get to our seats. "Here!" I let Amy in and then I sit in the middle, followed by Hyunjae who sit at the last row. "Do you tinkle halfway through?" I ask Amy. I mean, she is at the window seat who knows she might need to tinkle or something. "Nope, I'll be sleeping through the flight. Right, can you ask for blankets?" I nod and look for the air stewardess.

"Uh, excuse me? Can I request for three blankets," He nods and soon handed me the blankets. I smile and thanked him and pass everyone a blanket each. I took out my phone to give one final text message before we took off.

I smile and switch my phone to flight mode. I saw Amy was already curled up in a ball, trying to fall asleep.
