Chapter four

The three of us took the public bus to school since Mum or Dad couldn't drive us and Grandpa has some urgent meeting to attend too which leads to him leaving the house early. "We should have taken the car with Grandma"

"Woah, I do not want to get seen with Grandma. She is miss VIP here. What would my friends even say?" I roll my eyes and shake my head. I mean, it's true what Sunwoo says, I don't really wanna take the same car as Grandma because she is the principal and like-just no. I walk to the administrative office to find a girl named Emily. As soon as I stepped in the office, a beautiful strawberry blonde girl sitting at the corner of the office. Her uniform was neatly tucked in her skirt. She has a badge at the right side of her uniform. 'Emily'

She looks up to see me approaching and gave me a huge welcoming smile, "Hi! You must be Penny! I'm attached to you for the week. Come on, Let's go exploring!" She beams and I find myself smiling too.

After a whole round of exploring with Emily, she finally showed me my classroom. Emily knocked on the door to get the attention of the the lecturer teaching, "Hi Mrs Billgates, here's your new student!" She smiles and ask me to come in. The whole class was trailing their eyes on me and I shyly smile at them. A few whistle and I take an empty seat next to nerd. She seems cute. "Hi!" She smiles back while adjusting her spectacle to get a better view of me.

"H-hello. Sorry, I don't do well in social." I smile, "That's okay! I don't really like socially friends. Me, myself is awkward, yikes" She laughed and I couldn't help it but laugh along. We talk throughout the whole lesson since the lecturer didn't bother about me. Since I'm new, she gave me the freedom to talk to anybody.

"Is the class always this-" I look around and nobody is listening to what the lecturer is talking. People were making out, some were playing games. The fact that Ellie isn't bothered about this, surprised me. That's when the doors to the lecture theatre bursted open and I saw Sunwoo walking in with a bunch of boys. Wait, Sunwoo!?

"You boys are late, again." I know one of them, hold up is that-

"Sorry? I mean is not my fault that all the girls in this school is- oh, I found my next victim. Catch ya later Mrs. B" He sends a flying kiss to her and makes his way towards me. Oh god, what the hell? The girls in the class starts mumbling and some were even throwing shade at me. What did I ever do to you? Pathetic bunch of jealous girls. He takes a seat next to me after telling the guy seating next to me to move away. "Hi," He flashes me a smile so bright that I think I am blinded by it.

"Do I know you?" I look at him, scanning him up and down and then back to my book. "Oh, aren't you adorable? She's a keeper" He cups my face and bring it closer to him. I could smell his cologne from here and I shiver at how beautiful he is. "Hm, I was wondering on how would I paint my plain canvas into something beautiful." I grabs his hand and forcefully pull it away from my face.

"Sorry, I'm here to learn about-"

"If you need sex education you can always come to me sweet heart. I'm always free. Just for you, I will make our lesson exciting, lots of screaming and-" I cover his mouth before he could say any further. He seems to like it that I am touching his face, he purposely lick my hands and I pull away. "Ew, what the hell?"

"You taste sweet. I couldn't help it" I roll my eyes and stands up to move to another seat but to know that I am surrounded by his group of friends and I had dragged Ellie into this. Shit, how am I going to get away from this group of boys?

"I would stay if I were you, you had no place to go so sit back down" I got startled when Sunwoo started talking. I roll my eyes and sit back down. I mouthed 'Sorry' at Ellie and she mouthed back 'it's okay'. Throughout the whole lesson, he was either resting his head on my shoulder or either play with my fingers or even play with my hair. It's hard to even focus in class with him doing all this thing to me. "Can you stop!"

"Nope. Deal with it." He continues to do the stuff that all couple does. By the end of the lecture, me and Ellie quickly walk out of the theatre so that they wont be able to keep up. "Do you know him or something? He seems to be taken like to you"

"Nope, never see him in my life before," Ellie hums and the both of started walking to the cafeteria. Everyone in the cafeteria was looking at me and they were chattering loudly at me, well, mostly the guys. "Everyone is talking about you," Ellie whispers and I shake my head. "Probably you, cmon let's not give any attention to them" Ellie nods and we went ahead and take a seat at the corner of the cafeteria. Ellie likes this corner because it makes her feel invisible.

"Anything for you?"

"Banana milkshake please"

"Coming right up!" I smile and made my way to the fruit bar. I ordered one banana milkshake and one watermelon juice with milk. I payed the cashier and that's when I heard the girls started squealing and screaming. "Oh god, they are here aren't they," The girl infront of me heard me and she turns around to give me a nod.

"You hate them too?"

"Can't hate them when one of them is my brother" She raises her brows and look at the group of guys there. "Sunwoo isn't it?"

"Well, you guys look alike so yeah." I smile at her and walk back to my table with her trailing beside me. "Ellie, I met a new friend, you are?"

"Amy. Amy Will"

"Ellie James"

"Penny! Kim Penny?" The two of them bursted out laughing at me because Kim Penny sounds weird. Why don't I own a Korean name. "You don't own a Korean name?" Jeez Amy, thanks for reading my mind.

"No that I know of. I have been living with my dad for almost my whole life in LA so I don't really know what is my Korean name" Amy nods and takes a seat beside Ellie. We talked throughout lunch time. I got to know Ellie and Amy a little better. Turns out Amy was from England and was here as an abroad student and so was Ellie only that she is from Australia. Language barrier is so difficult for them as they have to speak and learn Korean. Unlike me, I know Korean but choose not to speak in it.

"Hey Pen, why is that silverish hair coloured guy keep looking at you as thou he wants to eat you alive." I turn around and saw him staring at me hungrily. I roll my eyes and turn back to the girls. He is seriously getting on my nerves.

"Do you know him or something? Or met him before?" I nod and sigh. Ellie and Amy looked at each other and turn to face me obviously asking me to spill the tea. "I met him at the bakery while buying a cake for my step dad."

"Do you know what's his name?"

I nod and sigh while looking at him, "From what I know, his name is Lee Jaehyun. Also known as Hyunjae"
