Chapter thirty two

"Uh," I stare at him completely unsure what to reply to him. He then sits up straight and turns his body so that he would face me. Hyunjae grabs my hand and put it in his laps. "You don't have to give me an answer now, but-"

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend," His eyes widen and he looks at me, complete shock. I realise that all the time we have been together, he makes me feel safe and protected. I also know that he is the one that I want to be with forever. As cheesy as it sounds but I really do want to have a future with him. "Are you sure?"

I nod and gave him a smile, "I came to realise that I want no one but you. You make me feel protected. Yea, there are times that I push you away because I was confused and scared but now, my heart has open and that is because of you. You make my heart open and that I am ready to love you, so yes, Lee Hyunjae, I will be your girlfriend," He smiles and pulls me into a kiss. After we broke the kiss, I rest my head on his shoulder and sigh. I could feel my cheeks were burning up.

After so long of resisting my feelings, I finally became the girlfriend of Hyunjae. I didn't even realise the sun was already setting that's when we decided to head home just in case anything bad might happened to us. Since Sarah and Anthony is out to kill me, we better go home and be safe rather than be sorry.

Once we reached the house, the same guy from across the street came to greet us. He smiles and waves at us. I look over at Hyunjae to get permission to wave back. Hyunjae nods and heads towards him. Surprisingly, he knows the guys handshake or something. Probably Kevin taught him or something. "Hey, what's up?" I clung onto Hyunjae's arms and the guy noticed it and his smile was turned into a frown. "I'm Hyunjae, you?"

"James, I'm Penny's ex," I knew he is going to say that. Why? He probably wants me back. I mean, everyone has that ex you can't move on. And he is that ex that can't move on from me. I totally understand him because our relationship was the longest. Let's see, maybe around four? Five? years. I look over to Hyunjae and could see his body was tensed. James smirks and turn his gaze at me. I force out a smile at him. "It's been long, how are you?"

"I'm good. You?"

"Perfect. Is he your boyfriend?" I nod and he nods, "Take care of her, she is a keeper." Hyunjae nods and turn his heels towards the house, leaving me behind. His jealousy is showing and I find it cute. "See you around?"

"Yeah, um, I miss you." I sigh and shake my head at him, "No, you need to let go. I cherish the memories we had together, James. But I found someone new already. I'm sorry if there is no other girls that could replace my position. But I wish you nothing but the best, goodbye," I smile at ran to Hyunjae that is waiting for me at the front door. Hyunjae let me go in first, before locking the door. I crash onto the couch to find Amy and Dad eating dinner. Hyunjae heads upstairs and I could hear him closing the door.

"Did you lovebirds had your first fight?" I shrug, "Well, I wouldn't call it a fight. I'll let him cool off first before talking to him," Amy nods and take another moutful of her spaghetti. Dad looks over at me, "You better talk to him okay? Communication is the key into every happy relationship. don't be like your mother and I," I nod and gave my Dad a kiss on the cheeks and heads upstairs to the room Hyunjae is in. I knock on the door and heard him say come in. I open the door to see Hyunjae, already tucked in bed, reading a book. I smile and close the door behind me.

"Do you need something?" I nod and sit on top of him. "Yeah, I need my boyfriend," Hyunjae puts away the book and I lay myself on top of his chest. He stroke my head and hugs me tighter around my waist. "I know your jealous,"

"N-no, says who!"

"Your body language, and I hear your heartbeat rising," I sit up and look at him, "I'm not going anywhere, so don't be jealous!" Hyunjae pouts and looks away, clearly feeling embarrassed. I smile and pinch his cheeks.

"What do you want to do tomorrow?" Hyunjae shrugs and I put my hand on my chin, thinking. Since I am in Canada, I might as well visit my friend and have a sleepover! That is if I still have their phone number. "Do you think, we could do it?" I look at Hyunjae and blush, he wants to do it already? That's fast. "Uh, sure?" He smiles and flip me over and push me down the bed and starts to kiss me. I'll let your imagination run wild.

I ended up sleeping with Hyunjae in the guest room with the both of us, naked underneath the blankets. I groan and yawn and saw Hyunjae beside me sleeping so peacefully with his hair all over his face. Last night was amazing, he ended up getting what he wanted ever since the party. I mean he asked so I give it. I get out of bed and quickly head to the bathroom to cover myself with a towel. Since the guest room and my bedroom is connected, it was easier for me to get to my bedroom. I silently open the door to my room through the connecting doors and saw Amy sleeping soundlessly on bed. I better get showering, I feel sticky and yucky.

After taking a long warm shower, I walk out and put on the clothes in my closet. "So, you had your fun with someone last night, and no you guys are definitely not loud." Amy crosses her arms and look at me with a smirk. "Uh, I'm sorry?"

"Hyunjae, fast-," I run up to her and cover her mouth. I am still feeling quite shy about it so I am probably not gonna talk about it. "Mhhmhm hmhmhhmmh." I look at Amy and remove my hands from her mouth to let her talk properly, "Did you use protection?" I nod and Amy nods too. "I know that feeling, it felt good right?"

"Can we stop talking about this?"

"No! Isn't this your first time?" My eyes widen and a shy smile creeps into my face. "Shut up Amy! Go hit the showers!" I push her off the bed and throw her a towel from my closet and walk towards the guest room to wake Hyunjae up. I open the door and found out Hyunjae was already dressed and groom. Wow, there is no way someone so handsome exists. I ended up swooning over him and he saw.

"Why are you looking me like that?" I walk towards him and put my hands around his waist and look up at him. He smiles and leans down to kiss me. I blush and look away because I did not expect him to kiss me at all. I let go of him, "I was about to wake you up but saw you are dressed so I shall get going," Hyunjae nods and I walk out of the room to help cook breakfast with Dad. The aroma of the food already make me hungry and I saw him cooking eggs, I look over to the side and saw bacons and pancakes were already serve on the plate. Guess I'll help with the setting up of the table then.

"Howdy partner," Dad turns around and smile at me, "Morning princess," I lay out the fork and knife and took out the milk carton from the fridge and place it on the table. Amy and Hyunjae soon arrives and takes their seat. "Hey Dad, do you still have Timonthy's and Bridget's phone number?" He nods and told me it's in the phonebook on the side table.

I make my way to the side table to grab the phonebook and dial in Bridget's house number. It rang and then soon enough,someone picked up, "Hello? Can I help you?" I smile and I swear I could feel my tears were about to fall. It's those happy tears. "Hello, Bridget? This is me, Penny!"

"Penny?"
