Chapter twenty six

"Are you sure it's them? Penny, calm down," He brings me to the back of the car and told Elaine to go to class first. My breathing became heavier and harder, my hands were shaking and my chest is hurting. Hyunjae starts to panic from the way I see it. He then kissed me on the lips. I pulled away and looks at him, confused.

"I read somewhere that by holding your breath it could help you with your panic attack so when I kissed you..." I blinked and nod and gave him a hug, "Thank you," He hums in reply and rubs my back before pulling away.

"Quite a show you gave ey? Your girlfriend just had a panic attack. Pathetic," I look at them again. Ugh, false alarm, it's not them. "Buzz off, Peter!" Peter rolls his eyes and pulls his girl to the school followed by a bunch of his friends.

"Can you don't jump to conclusions? It was just Peter and his crew!" I crossed my arms at him and glares at Hyunjae. How am I supposed to know it was Peter!? I never even see him in this school before? I walk away not caring about Hyunjae and head to class. Since it was afternoon classes, it's time for Biology. I take the seat beside Changmin who didn't notice my presence. I cleared my throat and saw him in glasses today while reading a book.

Now that is something you don't see every day. "Hey, Changmin! What are you reading?" He picks up his book and gave it to me, "Poetry? I didn't know you liked this type of books!" He smiles and I gave him back his book.

"Ah, sorry class! I'm late, today it's theory and shall we begin? Yes? No? I'll start," It was a theory lesson again and as always everyone in class started sleeping. Kevin and Juyeon decided to sit with us and play hangman, the title was 'movie' and it was Juyeon's turn. "Hm, R," I put 2 letter R's in the space and Kevin clicked his fingers and points. "Harry Potter!"

"What? How did you come up with that so easily?" Kevin sticks his tongue out at Juyeon. "Think smart, not hard, dumbass," I chuckled and wrote notes on my notebook. I can multitask which is why I'm playing this game with them.

"Oh, could you wake the students up?" The four of us nod and went ahead slamming everyone's table. They woke up grumpy and groaning. Some even have marks on their faces, people say if you have those marks it means that you slept well. "We will be having our test next week, it covers topic 10-15. Make sure to study well and do well for this test as it will help you in your final exams," The class sigh and nod. "Okay, class dismissed." Everyone starts packing their bags and move out of the class. I waited for the guys to finish packing and go out together.

"Plans?"

"I'm gonna study!"

"Juyeon studying? I must have taken the wrong vitamins today," Juyeon crosses his arms and furrowed his brows. "What? I mean, it's hard to believe that Juyeon is studying." Changmin grabs Kevin away and bids goodbyes to us. I wave back and make my way to the car with Juyeon. "How long have you guys been waiting,"

"Long enough, can we go home already?" I nod and unlocked the car. Sunwoo gets in the car looking all grumpy. I look over to Elaine and she just shrugs. I then turn to Juyeon, "Do you need a car ride home?" He hesitated for a bit before saying nodding his head yes. I told him to get in and started the engine. I haven't see Hyunjae today, hm, finally a day without him. I drove to Juyeon's house and wave goodbye at him before making our way home. I look over to Sunwoo by the mirror, "What is wrong with you? Why are you so angry?" Sunwoo let out a sigh and look at me.

"There is this girl-"

"Ooo, girl problems. Okay, spill,"

"As I was saying there is this girl," I nod looking at the mirror, asking him to go on. "She is so mysterious and unpredictable and I like that but also, it's so hard for me to get her attention. Every time I say hi or hey, she ignores me as if I meant nothing to her!"

"Maybe because you aren't? Jeez sunwoo, are you even in the same class as her? Tell me do you have at least one or two classes with her?" Sunwoo shakes his head and pouts. This is the first time I have never seen Sunwoo talks about a girl.

I mean I'm happy he finally is having a girl to talk about but to make it difficult to approach her. Sunwoo does like chasing the hard to get girls huh? As soon as we reached the house, I parked it in the garage and told them to get off. I then lock it and went inside with them. As always, I'm greeted by Bilbo. "Bilbo seems to like you more than us," I scoff and smile at them, "Maybe if you spend more time with him, he will like you more, ah, I'm going for a walk with Bilbo."

"It's going night time, you sure you're going out?" I nod and told them to not worry since I have Bilbo with me. They shrug and I took the leash that is hanging in the drawers and hook it on Bilbo's collar. We walk out the gate and walk on the streets. As the day is getting darker, the street lights became brighter. People could be seen more, waves of laughter could be heard, the clinking of drinks could be heard and seen. It's a Monday and they are already drinking? Must be a long day at work. Both of us walk further down the road and onto a dark alley with very dim lights. So much for exploring. I could feel my body starts to shiver. I don't like this place.

So we made a U-turn when suddenly we were both stopped by this man. He wore a black hoodie and a mask. He seems super shady, I look over to his hand and saw a baseball bat. One knock at me and I'm dead so I try to keep cool. "Can I help you?"

"Yes, do you know where I can buy drugs? More specifically, second-hand drugs," That voice seems familiar, really familiar. It couldn't be him, right? There is no way they know I'm here. Ah, Penny, please don't panic now. Keep your cool, keep your cool. Please. "No, I don't, I should get going sir," As I was making my way past him, he grabs my wrist and removes his hoodie. That's when I realise, it was really him.

More specifically, it was really them. They are here and they are coming to get me.
