Chapter twenty seven

"What are you doing here?" I glare at them and forcefully let go of his grip. He laughs and stroke my hair, Bilbo was already growling at him. "That's not a nice way to greet an old friend, Penny. Show us around Korea, this place is so beautiful." I sigh and move away before he could even touch my cheeks.

"Leave or I'll scream. What's your business here, Ben?" Ben chuckles and looks at me and smile. He pulls me in and places a knife on my throat. Bilbo was already barking at him when one of his men put Bilbo down and tie his mouth with a string. "When we said, we will kill you, we will. I have you right now. If you scream, you and your dog will die. No one will know because no one cares,"

"So I suggest you do things the easy way, follow us home with your dog and do exactly as we say," I nod and he let me and Bilbo go. My phone always had a location on and connected to my siblings so they know where I'm going.

I follow them up the hill and into a dark alley with Bilbo. The place was getting more eerie the further we go in.

I didn't bother looking back because if I run now, who knows what will happen to me. So for now, let's just listen to them and make thing easier for them. "Get in," I get in their house and they toss me to the side. "What are you doing?" They throw drugs at my face and sprinkle drugs powder on top of me. If this is their way of getting revenge then this is stupid. Ben grabs my face and open my mouth. "Eat this and swallow it," I spit the drug out at him and got earned by a punch across the face.

"You psycho! You knew what happened to Abby was not my fault! Why are you doing this to me?"

"You were the last person with her. So you overdosed her because she was not good enough to be your partner!" Ben laughed and laughed even louder which caused Bilbo to whimper and hid behind me. I pull in Bilbo for a hug and glares at Ben. "I came back to see her already dying! What do you expect me to do?"

"No, we were okay with Abby dying. But what made us furious was that you turned your back on us. We were your friends, Penny! You sold us to the police! You even told us about our warehouse and because of you, we lost our jobs. We lost our families and it's all because of you and your goody side." Ben push me down and sit on top of me. He then squeezes my throat with his bare hands causing me to start chocking. "Any last words?"

"Yeah... I.... know.... how..... to.... fight!" In a blink of an eye, I twist his hands and turn us around. Took his guns out and shoot at his men and pointed the gun at him. "I didn't leave there without learning how to fight. I came forward because I know it's the right thing to do. When will you learn to grow up and accept the fact you will rot in prison?"

"One move and I'll shoot you in the head." The door burst open and I turn to see Hyunjae and the guys. Ben took the opportunity and get up and took the gun and points at us.

"Dude, we can talk this out, whatever you need, we will give you. Please let go of the gun." Hyunjae steps forward and Amy grabs me away from him. He is going to get himself killed! I look behind them to see Sunwoo and Elaine with knives in their hands. What are they doing? Hyunjae nods and the two of them attack from behind slicing Ben's legs that caused him to yelp in pain and fall. Letting go of the gun that was once in his grip. Hyunjae kicks away the gun and cuffs Ben's hands together. "Don't ever mess with my girl or her family cause if you do, we will kill you!" Police sirens were soon to be heard not long after Hyunjae put Ben down.

The police then took Ben away and talked to us about what happened. I went outside because I felt something stuck in my throat so I went to let go of my rainbow. After doing so, I sat on the front porch and cry with Bilbo by my side. "I'm glad you are okay,"

I nod at Hyunjae and wipe my tears away. If it weren't for my location and signal, I would have been dead. Hyunjae pulls me into a hug and calms me down by stroking my hair. I cried even harder. I don't know why but I cried even harder. "Thank goodness you are okay, I was worried sick when Elaine said you weren't home yet," I pull away and smile, "I'm okay now. Don't worry. Your girl knows how to defend herself!" Hyunjae nods and kisses the top of my head before pulling into another hug.

"This is why you always stay at home after school!" I pull away and saw Amy glaring at me. "I know, I'm sorry,"

"I'm glad you're fine! Don't you ever made me worried please!" I smirk and raised my brows at her, "Amy is worried for me?" Amy glares and punch me on my shoulder and pouts. "That would be the last time I'm worried about you!" I laugh and saw the whole gang was here. Younghoon, Juyeon, Chanhee? Amy, Elaine and Sunwoo and of course Hyunjae. I smile and look at them. This is my family. The one that protects each other. There are more to this family but I for sure know that this is where I belong.

All of us make our way back to our place and hang out. Mum and dad looked at me and gave me both a hug. "Are you okay? Did something bad happened to you?" I shake my head and smile at them. Gotta make sure I'm okay or else they will start hiring bodyguards to protect me. They hug me again and sigh in relief.

Hyunjae and I made our way to the swimming pool to hang out. I sigh as I dip my feet in the water. Hyunjae looks at me with a worried face and moves closer to me, putting his hands around my waist. "What's wrong?"

"I want to go back and meet my dad. Settle my shit there." Hyunjae's eyes widen and he shakes his head no, "It's too dangerous! Besides, the leader has been caught!"

"No! I have to get my shit right. They will keep coming to Korea. Their group is big! I messed up. Big time. If they knew I'm with you and the rest of them, they will kill you! I don't want you guys putting your life for me," Hyunjae sigh and pulls me into a tight hug, "If it's you, I'm willing to sacrifice myself, please don't go alone. I'll follow you, wherever you go," He cupped my cheeks and force out a smile. I could tell from his smile, he was hurting and scared but most importantly, he was scared.

"I'll be fine. I'll bring Amy along," Hyunjae lets out another sigh before pulling me into a side hug. Looks like we will be skipping school for a few weeks then.
