Chapter thirty seven

The next morning when I wake up, I couldn't walk. It hurts every time I try to stand up or move. "Morning,"

"Hyunjae! I can't walk, it hurts. Just how rough did you go?" Hyunjae laughs and kissed me on the cheeks, "Rough," I look at him, getting out of bed and walk into the bathroom, to shower. I tried to get up, but it hurts so I hold on to my stomach and tried walking to my room. I opened the door and collapsed on the floor. "Penny! Oh my goodness, I'll wash you up, can you chill," Hyunjae carried me up in bridal style and wash me up in his tub.

After showering with the help of Hyunjae, I walk down the stairs to mee the kids since it's their last day and their parents are here to fetch them. "Bye Penny! Bye Hyunjae! See you guys soon!" We follow them out to the front porch and look at them from afar. "Wait! Wait!"

We saw Amy running out of the door to give each of them a hug. I smile and look up to Hyunjae, "Why does this feels like I'm sending my kids to school?" Hyunjae chuckles and smile, "Well it would be nice if you could get pregnant and have our kids," I punch Hyunjae's arms and he laughs at me. I mean, yes we had sex, twice. Did he come in me? I'll let you guys figure it out. Amy walked back to the house with tears on her face. I pursed my lips trying so hard not to laugh.

"Shut up! Don't laugh at me. And what is up with you limping? Did you go hard on her?" Hyunjae scratches the back of his neck and smile, "You could say so," Amy then smacks his head with her slippers causing him to let go of me and I grab the pillars. "Why you- Oi! Come back here!" I shake my head and saw James putting boxes in his car. Is he moving? I then saw Bridget running towards me and gave a tight hug.

"Where is your brother going?"

"Paris. He is going to pursue his dreams of becoming a fashion designer there." I raise my brows and nod. Didn't know he was into fashion. "Why are you limping?"

"Rough,"

"Oh. Did he give you a rough one? First time?"

"Second, actually- wait why are we talking about this?" Bridget laughs and pushes me lightly, "You said roughly so I caught on," Shouldn't have said that. Bridget then swings my arms around her shoulders and walk me back inside. "Penny! Penny!" I turn around to see who is calling me and saw James running towards me. I smile and look at him. Why are my ex and current boyfriend so freaking handsome!? "Yes?"

"Uh, here," He passed me a paper bag and I look at it inside. A picture of us together on our first day by the park under the tree. Of course, he would keep it. "I made an extra one for myself. In case anyone asked, just say, he is my best friend," I nod and hugged him. "Have fun in Paris," He nods, "You too, have a safe trip back to Seoul. See you again, someday," He runs back to his car, gives it a good start and drove away. I could tell Bridget was looking at me and I'm not gonna lie, being in a relationship with James has a lot of rules that we can't do but those 5 years were nothing but happy memories. I hope he finds his soulmate there.

"You okay?" I look at Bridget and nod. She nods back and helped me walked back into the house. Hyunjae and Amy were still running around the house causing Dad to have a major headache early in the morning. "Why are you limping?"

"He is the reason why! Come back here Hyunjae!" Dad glares at Hyunjae and I hold his hands, "Don't worry, Amy got this," I then heard a loud slap sound from the living room and turn to see where it came from. "Hell yeah! That's what you deserve!"

"Ow!? Wait till you had sex with Sangyeon and I will tell him to go ten times rougher on you!" Amy sticks her tongue out at him and walks to the dining table where the rest of us is seated. Dad drank his coffee while reading the newspaper, Amy and Bridget were eating bread with butter on top, Hyunjae helped me with my cereal and decided to share it with me. After eating breakfast, the five of us decided to go to the beach. I called Timothy and his boyfriend to join us too. When we reached the beach, Timothy and his boyfriend were already waving at us.

We made our way to them and set our mat beside theirs. "Lovely day for a beach outing!" I nod and put on sunblock on my arms and legs. Hyunjae helped put sunblock on my back and I accidentally let out a soft moan. He leans into my ear and whisper, "Careful there sweetheart, wouldn't want anyone to know how you sound in bed,"

I glared at him and rest my head on top of his shoulders. "I don't understand why I'm here at the beach when I should be resting at home."

"Hello! You agreed to it! So blame yourself," Amy scoffs and puts on her sunglasses and laying down with her hands as her support for her head. The beach was packed today. People surfing, making sandcastles, having a competition of both surfing and making sandcastles, food trucks were parked along the parking area. Families were having the time of their life here. "Wouldn't it be nice if we could bring the rest here," I glanced over at Amy? She nods, "I can imagine, Juyeon and Chanhee running around, maybe Sunwoo too-"

"Don't forget Sangyeon's hot body too," Amy threw a towel at Hyunjae's face which caused the rest of us to laugh. "Penny, maybe we should visit Seoul!"

"Oh my goodness yes! But Amy and Ellie are both on exchange programs pretty sure after we graduated, they will have to leave."

"No! Says who! Girl, I told my parents right after I graduated, I'm staying in Seoul, gonna rent an apartment or maybe buy a house and work there. They agreed! I'm not sure about Ellie but I'm pretty sure her parents agreed. And then we could live together!" Timothy hums and placed his hand on his chin, as if he is thinking about something, "Just to ask, are you guys in University or in like high school?"

"Our school is kinda complicated, it's combined with the high school students, we are Uni students but we have to learn those high school subjects again for elective modules." Amy sighs and lays back on her back, "I'm surprised that my brain hasn't given up on me," Hyunjae agrees and so did I. I'm glad that my brain hasn't given up on me and that I can still take in a lot of things in school.

"Well, that's good then!" The rest of us talked until it was sunset. Timothy and his boyfriend cuddle together while I cuddle with Hyunjae. Amy and Bridget watched over the sunset with their legs close to their chest. The atmosphere was just so healing and peaceful it's like I could feel that all the problems we had and faced were finally over. And the sunset was our reward for overcoming it. After the sun has fully gone down, we decided it's time to leave and pack up. Amy and I agreed that we should leave for Seoul tomorrow and that once we reached home, we should buy our tickets.

"Thanks for today. It was nice hanging out again like old-time," I nod and gave Bridget and Timothy one final hug before calling it a day. "See you when I see you," They nod and I turn around, heading into the house. Dad was already asleep when we reached. We quickly packed our bags and buy the tickets. "Last flight is at midnight. We will probably reach Seoul by 8 am or maybe later,"

"Yeah, buy it and then print it," Amy does all the work while I pack my stuff. We heard a soft knock coming from our door and saw Dad, rubbing his eyes and look at us, "You're leaving tomorrow right?"

"Yes, wish you could come along dad, but-"

"Oh I know your mother, she wouldn't want me there. Your grandmother wouldn't want me there either." I heard Amy shouted 'all done before heading into the showers to wash. "I'll leave you girls alone," I nod and closes the door behind him.
