Chapter twenty one

"Is everybody back?"

"We are here!" The four kids quickly made their way to their seats and wait for lunch to be served. Us, volunteers have a different room to eat our lunch. We walked in the room to found Eric and Elaine sleeping and cuddling each other with the other babies. "So adorable, that would be us later,"

The teachers told us to eat our lunch first. "Rate your first kiss," I flustered and look at him with my eyes widen. "Are you serious?" He nods and smiles, "Well, um rate the party kiss or the just now kiss?"

"Just now, the party doesn't count because, you didn't kiss back and, I remember someone mess with you. So rate this kiss,"

"Hm, an 8?"

"Nice! Oh, what are you kids doing here?" We help them with their cutlery and trays and set it on the table. "We wanna eat with you guys!" I let out a chuckle and stroke their head, "of course you guys are welcome," Hyunjae pouts again and moves away from me. Not this again. I swear to god can he stop acting like a baby every single god damn time. They are just kids? Why is he getting so frustrated about this?

"Where are you going?"

"Here, I am angry at you," "Okay, then more attention to this kids then," The four kids start cheering loudly which caused Hyunjae to let out a defeated sigh and moves back to the empty spot beside me. "Penny is mine! Don't you two boys dare go steal her! Understood!" Hyunjae put his hands on my waist and pull me closer to him. We then waited patiently for our food to be served. Hyunjae was leaning on my shoulders to distract himself from grumbling. The teachers serve us our food and we start eating our food. "Penny! Penny! Try this chicken! It's good!"

"Of course!" I lean in to let the boy have an easy access to my mouth and I ate it. I show him a big thumbs up and ruffles his hair. I could feel Hyunjae glaring at them and his aura was scary. I place my hand on his thighs and gave it a tight squeeze. He averted his gaze from the kids to his thighs and soften. Hyunjae leans in to give a quick peck on the lips and smile. "Eat your food Hyunjae!" "Yes, mummy!" I roll my eyes and focus on eating and on the kids. Kids are quite messy eaters so I have to watch them not making a mess while entertaining this big baby beside me. Multitasking is hard.

"I am done!"

"Me too!"

"Squeaky clean! Yay!"

"Uwa! I'm full!"

They let out cute tiny burps and they soon let out a yawn. "Time for bed," Wonshik asked me to carry him to cradle him to sleep. "Once I finish eating I'll carry you okay?" He sat beside me and waited patiently for me to finish eating. Hyunjae then asked the kids to brush their teeth before napping. He helped Minjun with brushing his teeth and he hurried back to sit beside me. "Brush your teeth already?" He nods and shows me his white teeth. I smile and showed him a big thumbs up and ruffles his hair. I then carry Wonshik in one hand and sway from side to side to let him sleep in my arms.

"Can I get an upsies too?" Hyunjae nods and carries the two girls in his arms and sway his body side to side. "I want a carry up too," Hyunjae looks at me, "Are you strong enough to carry two?" I glared at him and stick my tongue out at him and carry Minjun. Soon enough, all four kids fall asleep in our hands. I followed Hyunjae to the room where they will be sleeping and slowly tucked them into bed. For the plump size one, he had to be patted to sleep. Hyunjae rests behind me and snakes his way around my waist while I patted Minjun to sleep. Once I heard soft snoring, I turn around and cuddle with Hyunjae.
