Chapter 21

Back to the main story and the training camp!

"We'll be stopping in about an hour", Aizawa said. "After that we'll..."

"Guys, we have to play truth or dare tonight!", I said.

"Of course we do!", Ashido answered. "That's what summer camps are for!"

I smiled and looked out of the bus window. Aizawa silently shook his head before giving up on gaining our attention.

We were on our way to the summer training camp, and I couldn't be more excited. I was sitting next to Kirishima, behind Ashido and Hagakure. I was initially planning to sit alone so I could sleep, but when I got onto the bus I saw Bakugo snapping at Kirishima before he went to sit somewhere else. I decided to go sit next to the redhead, since I knew he would be good company. On top of that, Ashido and Hagakure went to sit in front of us, making the bus ride even more fun.

My smile faltered when I thought about what Midoriya told me a few days before. Apparently, when part of the class decided to go to the shopping mall, Midoriya ran into Tomura Shigaraki from the League of Villains. Nothing bad happened in the end, but it bothered me anyway. To think Shigaraki was so close to Midoriya, and that he could have killed him.

"What are you frowning for, (y/n)?", Kirishima asked as he playfully elbowed me.

"Just thinking", I mumbled before looking at the redhead. "But never mind that. We're finally going on the summer camp! I'm so excited!"

"I wonder if we'll have enough spare time", Hagakure wondered. "It is a training camp after all."

"We better!", Kaminari said from the other side of the aisle.

"You'd have plenty of spare time if you had passed your exams...", Mineta smugly said from the seat beside him.

I chuckled as Kaminari started arguing with the grape boy.

"We should play truth or dare by a campfire", I suggested. "Just for dramatic effect."

"Totally!", Kaminari agreed with a smile.

"What about the fireworks?", Ashido asked.

"Although I hope they'll be there, I doubt fireworks are standard for a summer camp, Mina", I chuckled.

"Otherwise I can make some fireworks!", Kaminari suggested.

"Yes, Pikachu do Lightning Bolt!", I joked.

Kaminari grinned and raised his hand. Little sparks danced around his fingertips.

"Kaminari", Aizawa sternly said. "No quirks on the bus."

"Yes, Sensei", Kaminari mumbled and he lowered his hand with a small pout.

To me it didn't feel like the bus ride lasted very long. I was chatting with my classmates and friends when Aizawa said we were stopping.

I immediately hesitated when I got off the bus.

"This doesn't seem like a normal place to stop...", I concluded.

We were kind of in the middle of nowhere, in an open space next to the road. Below, there was a forest and I could see mountains in the distance.

"Where's class B?", someone asked.

"Of course we stopped here for a reason", Aizawa muttered.

I've got a bad feeling about this...

"Hey, Eraser!", a female voice shouted. "Sorry, haven't seen you in a while."

"Rock on with these sparkling gazes!", A second voice said.
