"Let's head to the nearest metro zone for now!", Midoriya said as our classmates dashed forwards to complete the second part of our provisional license test. "Stick together as a team!"

I nodded and ran on ahead, keeping an eye on the others. I saw some movement from the corner of my eye and saw a young girl with her leg under a plate of concrete. She was crying. I looked back at the others, who'd all run to another victim, and ran up to the girl.

Okay, act like a hero. Don't act like the world is ending, and reassure the victim!

"Don't worry, I'm here to help you", I said as I knelt down by the girl's side. "Are you in any pain, other than your foot?"

The girls looked up at me as she kept crying.

"My leg hurts!", she cried. "I'm stuck, please help me!"

"Don't worry, I'll get you out of here", I shushed her as I examined the concrete plate.

Should be fine to just remove. There's nothing leaning on it. I've gotta be careful though. I should probably do something to distract her...

"Hey, what's your favorite song?", I asked while grabbing onto the concrete plate, not taking my eyes off the girl. "Think you can sing it for me? I'll see if I can sing along."

"M-My favorite song?", the girl sniffled.

I nodded.

"Go on and sing it", I said with a small smile.

"O-Okay..."

The girl started softly singing. Fortunately I knew the song, so I quickly joined in. I held the girl's eyes with my own as I let darkness flow from my palm, lifting the concrete plate off her leg. I was finished just in time. The girl stopped singing right as her foot was free.

"Come on", I mumbled as I carefully lifted her. "Does anything else hurt?"

The girl shook her head.

"Can you stand?"

I lowered her to the ground slowly, but as soon as her foot hit the ground she winced.

"Okay, don't worry. I'll carry you to a safe place", I assured her as I picked her up bridal style. "Can you tell me something about your home?"

I did my very best to distract the girl as I sprinted to the zone for injured people. Once I got there I slowed down.

There's lot's of people here already.

"Let me have a look at that child!", another examinee said as she walked up to me.

"Right", I mumbled.

I knelt down and placed the girl on the ground, making sure not to put any weight on her ankle. Then I smiled at her.

"You're going to be okay", I assured her. "You're safe here. You'll be back with your dog in no-time!"

The girls' eyes lit up and then she giggled.

"Thank you, miss hero", she said.

These 'professional rescuees' are scarily good...

I turned to the other examinee, who started checking the girl.

"Her ankle's injured", I briefly explained. "She said she wasn't hurting anywhere else."

"Alright, I'll take care of her."

I nodded and turned around.

I gasped when there was a huge explosion at the arena wall. People poured out of the breach, followed by a hero I knew all too well.
