Chapter 60

I was too lazy to proofread this chapter.

(I only changed the time of the dinner from 'tomorrow night' to 'tonight'. Sorry for the random update. Next chapter will be up somewhere tonight, I promise!

On Monday, the internships began again, and I couldn't be more excited. 

Kirishima, Tetsutetsu and I were walking to the agency after getting off the train. I'd texted Tamaki is he wanted to join us, but he replied that he was already there.

"What is Fat Gum like?", Tetsutetsu asked. "Do you think he'll like me?"

"I'm sure he will", I answered. "He's easygoing and nice to talk to."

"That's a relief", Tetsutetsu said. "I'll do my very best to make him like me!"

"Bro, you don't have to make an effort like that", Kirishima said. "Just be yourself and he'll like you."

I smiled as the two boys chatted on. I hadn't been talking to Fat Gum lately, but I looked forward to seeing him again. For the upcoming week, I would be staying with him along with Tamaki, Kirishima and Tetsutetsu.

"There it is", I smiled and I pointed at the Fat Gum Agency building. "Let's go inside."

Kirishima smiled and nodded and Tetsutetsu also agreed. We went inside and I put my bag down.

"I'll go see where Fat Gum is", I suggested. "Eiji, maybe you can give Tetsutetsu a little tour to make him feel a little more at home?"

"Yeah! I can totally do that!", the redhead beamed. "What do say, dude?"

"Let's go!", Tetsutetsu grinned.

I watched them walk off and chuckled. Then I decided to get moving as well, heading to the central room in the agency where Fat Gum usually was when he wasn't out. I heard voices inside when I approached.

"I heard people yelling. It's probably them."

I rolled my eyes at Tamaki's grumbling tone and opened the door. Fat Gum and Tamaki both turned their heads to me. Fat Gum immediately smiled whereas Tamaki didn't give any reaction whatsoever.

"(y/n)!", Fat Gum said. He reached me with a few steps and lifted me up as he wrapped his arms around me, taking care not to let me get 'absorbed' because of his quirk.

"Hello, Fat Gum", I chuckled. "It's nice to see you again."

"Yes, yes, how've ya been?", Fat Gum asked as he put me down again.

"Good", I answered.

"I heard you were attacked and hospitalized."

"Eh, I was", I sheepishly admitted. "But I'm okay now. I'm doing good."

"That's a relief", Fat Gum said. "I was gonna visit, but Eraser Head told me not to! He said it'd be too busy and I couldn't really do anything because he's your teacher."

"You were going to visit?", I asked in a surprised tone. "You didn't have to, really. But thank you."

"Of course!", Fat Gum smiled, ruffling my hair. 

I couldn't help but smile either when the door opened. Kirishima entered with Tetsutetsu close behind, and Fat Gum's eyes lit up.

"You have another Kirishima!", the pro hero said before enveloping Tetsutetsu in an embrace.
