Chapter 50

I hummed as I walked into Recovery Girl's office. The healing heroine saw me enter and smiled.

"Here for your friends again, (y/n)?", she asked.

"Sure am", I smiled. "I didn't even get injured myself this time, so I'm in a pretty good mood."

"Well done", Recovery Girl praised. "Todoroki is still unconscious, but I'll heal him in a minute and then he should be fine."

"Alright, I'd like to stay here and wait, if that's okay with you."

"Of course, dear", Recovery Girl said. "It's full of students here anyway."

I hummed and followed her into the infirmary. The first thing I noticed was Todoroki unconsciously laying on a bed directly across from the door. My attention was drawn away from him when I heard Tetsutetsu.

"I'm telling you, eat it!", the 1-B student said rather loudly, holding something in front of Ojiro.

"Fine, fine", Ojiro huffed. "Please stop yelling."

I chuckled and waved.

"Hey guys", I said. "How're you all holding up?"

"He needs to eat his snickers!", Tetsutetsu yelled.

"Easy now, no need to be so loud", I hushed.

Tetsutetsu pursed his lips and looked at Ojiro.

"You should eat them, Ojiro", Recovery Girl said. "It'll give you some energy. You're free to leave if you feel okay."

"Thank you, Recovery Girl", Ojiro answered.

He took the snickers bar from Tetsutetsu and walked to the door. He nodded at me before leaving.

"So, who else is here?", I asked.

Iida walked into the infirmary and pointed at one of the curtains.

"It's just us and Honenuki is over there. I'm not sure he's woken up yet."

Honenuki...? I don't remember who was in the match, but... Honenuki is the guy from 1-B who has no lips, right...?

"I'm awake", a voice sounded from the other side of the curtain.

I hummed as I grabbed another snickers bar from a table, trying not to look at Todoroki's unconscious figure too much. I hated seeing him that way. He seemed so fragile, where he was usually strong.

"Here you go", I said as I handed Honenuki the snickers bar.

I confirmed my suspicions. Juzo Honenuki was the student from class 1-B with a skull-like appearance. His quirk was softening.

"I'm (y/n) (l/n)", I said. "I don't think we've officially met before."

"Right, I'm Juzo Honenuki", he answered before starting to munch on the snickers bar.

I sat down on the edge of Honenuki's bed and chatted with him a bit, talking about our quirks and the match. We both fell silent when we heard Recovery Girl healing Todoroki.

I didn't want to wake my friend yet, so I stayed with Honenuki. Then I heard Todoroki gasp, and a second later Recovery Girl spoke.

"Eat a snickers bar, dear", she instructed. "Ojiro already had one and left."

I heard the door to the infirmary open, followed by Tetsutetsu's loud voice.

"Todoroki!", he said as soon as he entered. "The match was a tie, but I think I lost! The heat was real intense! Let's go at it again!!"
