His name resounded through the dining hall as many Demons cheered and thanked him for the meal, Angel felt somewhat relieved that he had risked his life for someone who seemed like a good guy.  Charlie cheered while clapping as Vaggie smiled nodding in approval of the new guy's impressive skills, with the focus on the Chef, Alastor looked down at the food which was surprisingly still hot.  Picking up a fork he went to cut a piece of the steak only to find that it fell apart smoothly allowing him to pick it up and placed it in his mouth quickly.  Luckily no one was paying attention for once in a long time; the Radio Demon was no longer smiling.
"Well, you most certainly are a magnificent Chef, Devyn, thank you so much for your help."  Charlie praised making him smile while he bowed,
"Thank you, and it's the least I can do to thank you for your help."  When he stood back up though he suddenly wavered and had to catch himself against the wall, his other hand going to his head in dizziness.
"Oh my, are you alright?"  Charlie exclaimed going to help him only to have him stop her before she reached for him,
"It would seem I overdid it a bit I still need some rest.  May I use that room for a bit longer?"  He asked wearily; she nodded trying again to help him from the wall.
"Yes, of course, let me help you?"  He nodded gratefully and pushed himself off the wall to make his way towards the hall back upstairs with Charlie following close behind.  Vaggie went to sit next to Angel who had finished his food, they both looked after them worriedly.
"Seems the guy's still hurting, way ta go Al,"  Angel grumbled as Alastor was also staring at the doorway, his expression had returned before anyone could see and glancing down at the food he had yet to finish he struggled to keep smiling.
Once they reached Devyn's room he tiredly sat on the bed unable to stand anymore; Charlie stood in the doorway still worried until he smiled at her once more.
"I'm good Charlie just a couple more hours of rest, and I'll be alright."  She seemed to relax after that as she crossed the room to sit in the recliner that was in the corner,
"What you did was amazing, it's strange though.  Your name sounds familiar; can you tell me a little more about yourself?"  He looked to the ground thinking for a moment; she is the Princess of Hell; it would be rude to refuse her.  He went to rub his ribs which were now healed just bruised a bit.  Using his strength to create that food had taken its toll still he had fun regardless,
"Well as far as my skills go in cooking, I own a chain of restaurants throughout Hell, I'm a silent partner, so it's not well known.  That's the reason I was out hunting this morning; I catch my product fresh from the land and store them in my meat locker.  Then I distribute meats evenly to all my restaurants," she blinked at how elaborate it all sounded and rubbing her chin she asked.
"Do you mind if I ask How and When you died?"  It was a well-known question but sensing someone was eavesdropping Devyn feigned injury while pretending to have trouble speaking,
"Perhaps we can continue this chat later, sorry but I'm not feeling too well.  I promise to discuss this with you later, that is, if you don't mind me helping you with this evening's dinner?"  He changed the subject making Charlie clasp her hands together,
"You'd be willing to help with dinner tonight as well?  Wonderful I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us oh, and don't worry about the cleanup.  We'll handle it and get everything ready for you to use again."  He nodded thanking her as she stood to head out the room closing the door behind her, she was thrilled by the newcomer only to be startled by the presence behind her.
