Early the next day, Charlie was in her office overlooking paperwork. It was the most boring part of the job, but she did it responsibly as any Hotel Manager would, just organizing profiles of all the Demons that resided there at the Hotel. She came to look upon the folder with Devyn's name on it, so very little and empty she wondered when he would be around to tell her more about himself. Being distracted, she was startled by a knock to her doorway, looking up to see Alastor and his big grin.

"Good morning dear, how are you doing today?" He glided over to stand near her stockpiled desk; it was rather messy looking. He noticed the folder in her hand before she laughed nervously fixing her files,

"Oh, ah Good morning Alastor! I'm doing well; is there something I can help you with today?" Alastor returned to looking at Charlie, even for the Radio Demon her shining demeanor was a little overwhelming for someone like him.

"I was wondering about something; you seemed excited to learn our new Chef is someone who not only has lived here a long time but is an entrepreneur of fine arts. Tell me, why is that?" She paused wondering how to answer him; it was embarrassing. She twiddled her fingers looking down trying to form the words, her frown making the Radio Demon uneasy.

"This project started because I wanted to help my people move on from here instead of being slaughtered without a chance, he's known as the Chef from Hell's kitchen; it always sounded funny to me because my father told stories about him.  Someone who made food that helped Demons feel good about themselves, it just made me happy to think that others could live here happily.  It was a long time ago but seeing him alive and thriving here in my world; it gives me hope that if I can't help these Demons move on then, maybe I can help them live happily here too." Alastor had to admit the way she spoke about the Chef with great admiration was surprising even to him, but she didn't stop there.

"I don't know much more about him, sadly so maybe after a time he's here, I can talk with him more to learn how he does it?  Each one of his restaurants has amazing views; his food is healing and filled with a spirit that many Demons haven't felt in a long time." Charlie couldn't help but wonder how someone could bring together so many different Demons to enjoy their time here in Hell.  She looked at the folder again, then stood up.

"I'm going to ask him more about himself; I have to know how he does it." Alastor hastily stopped her while chuckling nervously,

"A moment Charlie, perhaps I can speak with him? I feel he and I need to fix things between each other and it would be my pleasure to help you so that you can focus on other tasks?" She pouted and started to protest,

"But..."

"Ah, do I need to get Miss Vaggie in here so you can focus?" She gasped blushing and turned to face her paperwork again,

"N-no I can do it if you don't mind but Alastor, please be sincere and don't upset him?" He laughed giving her his most sincere grin as he stood outside her office closing the door,

"Dear, I wouldn't dare."

Devyn had an hour to finish cooking breakfast, with French Toast on the menu he was working diligently on the flat top flipping bread with ease. He nearly dropped the cinnamon when he heard someone entering the kitchen; no one was supposed to be in here before he was ready to serve. Turning to see a sleepy red-eyed Angel walking wobbly towards the island table, by the looks of him it seemed he had been crying as he sat down sniffling very weakly.
