A couple of days passed as the planning for the Wedding was all the hype at the Hotel, Devyn had made it his goal to focus on his task but also never to be alone with Alastor again.  He had Angel with him, albeit that was just as dangerous, but also Niffty was glad to stay at his side.  Devyn enjoyed the smaller Demon's company as she helped him in the kitchen, looking over food to serve at such an occasion and with her at his side the Radio Demon couldn't find an opening.  Devyn didn't like the feeling of being a coward; still, he couldn't help but fear the Radio Demon in his endeavor to learn more about him to ensure the Hotel's safety.  After what he had revealed, he didn't want to go into his past to speak on why he feared such a thing.  A Demon that feeds on sexual desire and yet doesn't have sex, how ridiculous.  Perhaps Slyvaia had been right, and he was a fool staying there, he thought more on it and decided that after the Wedding he would leave and resign.  He couldn't risk facing Alastor, not in a real fight.  Perhaps once upon a time ago, Devyn might have been a match for Alastor, but he was no longer that Demon.  The day of the Wedding, everything else in the Hotel was being handled by Charlie, Vaggie, and Angel, who seemed the most into it with the girls.  Decorations and cleaning were done as the members of the Hotel had been informed they were welcome to join the event.

To most denizens of Hell, a Wedding wasn't anything special other than they rarely happened, no Demon cared for such things.  Margaret, however, was different than most.  Devyn had met her about ten years ago when she first arrived in Hell, not being a big fan of dogs, and she was a canine Demon; he had been a bit harsh with her but she proved to be a hard worker, and she never let anything get her down.  Always smiling and friendly with everyone; he knew little about her life on earth.  He didn't force anyone to tell him, only that she died with her young ones and they weren't in Hell.  Which made her happy all the same, now finding another Demon to love in Hell no less Devyn was keen on helping her make this day her best day.  They would hold the Ceremony within the Common Room, there weren't many guests, but the 666 News would be present to show off the Hotel's publicity.  This was the primary goal of all the staff within the Hotel, to show hope in matrimony between two Demons who through it all wish to show they are devoted to one another.  Hours before the ceremony and still enough time before the reception, Devyn was decorating the most glorious Wedding cake when Niffty called to him from the other side,

"Mr. Bane, I have to go help, Charlie, I'll be back when I can."

"Yes, dear, that is quite alright." He was busy putting the finishing touches on the cake as he heard her zoom off, quite fast that one.  Looking one last time at his alterations, he stepped back to look at his work,

"Well, if that isn't a fine cake, indeed."  He froze hearing the voice behind him; Devyn had been so focused that he hadn't sensed the other's presence, and on top of it, he had let Niffty leave him alone in the kitchen.  Turning he faced the smiling Radio Demon,

"H-hey, Alastor, h-how you been?"  He slowly moved away from the other to stand closer to the table that the cake sat upon.  The Radio Demon stood as he always did with that smile he still had and with his staff held behind his back.  Devyn couldn't help but feel fear at the sight of him; he was going to try for the answer today of all days.

"I've been wonderful, thank you for asking.  Now, I have something to ask of you..."

"Alastor, I don't have time."  Devyn cut him off, which was a terrible idea.  The Radio Demon began cackling as the kitchen grew dark with the shadows he was summoning, why did he never learn to keep his mouth shut.  Alastor's face contorted to that of the Radio Demon's and making his way towards Devyn, slowly began covering the other in tendrils of shadow making him unable to move.  Devyn was about to shout at the other but was unable to as he was in a cocoon of the other's darkness, he had rarely felt real fear, and this was coming close to it.
