"Hello?" I called out.

Silence.

"Anyone there?" I said louder but again, silence was all I heard.

I was driving through a tunnel, with no source of light for miles and miles. The only thing guiding me through the cold darkness was the car's headlights. I looked around and noticed something different.

There were 3 things that were odd about this. One, I've been driving in this tunnel for what seemed to be an hour. Two, nobody was around driving or walking next to me. Three, there was a light following me. It broke down the tunnel as it moved, sucking the walls and pavement into it.

I drove faster so the light couldn't reach me, and thats when I spotted the tunnel's exit up ahead. I immediately stepped on the gas pedal and the car immediately accelerated, but so was the light. I drove faster and faster until the exit was just a few feet away. The light reached the back of the car just in time for me to drive out of the tunnel.

My eyes opened and my head immediately shot up. My breathing was fast and uneasy and I was sweating.

I looked at my surroundings, scanning every inch of the room I was in. It was a white room with green curtains, shielding me from the sunshine seeping in through the window. It was a quiet room, so I figured nobody was here.

Then I heard a beeping noise and tried to get up to see where it came from. But I couldn't. As I was lifting my arms, I discovered that they were attached to different tubes. The heart monitor was making the noise, and from its recordings, just minutes ago my heart was dangerously low.

I heard the doorknob twist and the door opened, revealing a couple running towards me, at first I was scared of what they were going to do, then I remembered.

"Mom? Dad?" I said weakly as they rushed to my side and held my hand.

"My baby." My mother smiled, tears streaming down her cheeks. "My baby is alright." She said.

"How are you? Do you need anything?" My father asked gripping my hands. His eyes too were filling up with tears.

"No I'm doing alright." I replied. My parents helped me to sit up on the bed, my head and back resting on a pillow. I took a closer look at my legs and arms and saw many scars and stitches.

"What happened?" I say rubbing my throbbing head. "What am I doing here?"

"You don't remember anything?" My father said, a hint of panic in his tone. I tried to remember, then it hit me.

No pun intended.

"The car." I whispered. I remembered that night, everything happened so fast, and I didn't see it coming at all. My parents nodded and squeezed my hand tighter.

But that was all I knew. The last thing I remembered was dancing at a party, dancing with my two best friends and Dylan and Carter.

"We've missed you so much darling." My mother sobbed. "We thought we were going to lose you."

"No mom its okay." I stroked her palm with my thumb. "Im okay. How's everyone else doing? Beth? Jess?"

"They were the most broken hearted of them all. They came to the house the day after the accident and looked for you. When I explained what happened they rushed to the hospital immediately to see you, but the doctors didn't allow anyone to see you, because they were still doing all they could to save you." My father said, a tear dropping.

"And then two boys came in the next day looking for you as well. One was Dylan and the other was one we didn't recognize. The said they haven't heard from you and when I told them, well the boys' eyes started to fill up." My mother said.

I imagined them crying over me, and I smiled. I know it sounds selfish of me but I actually feel happy when people cry over me. It just shows that they care. But of course, knowing that they suffered because of me was not a happy thought.

"Wait, but that doesn't make sense." I said scrunching my eyebrows. "If Dylan and the other boy came here, then shouldn't they be here now? Since you said they came the next day?"

My parents both looked at each other nervously. I waited for an while but silence was all that filled the room.

"How long have I been out?" I ask softly. My mother looks down to the floor and my father averts his gaze out the window.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked, my voice more stern and my patience wearing thin.

My mother took a deep breath and sighed. "Four months."

"You've been asleep for four months Blair."

Anyway, I'm thinking of posting a new book I've been working on. Thing is, I could delete it in the future due to me being to busy because of school and stuff, and I don't want to disappoint you guys if ever I do decide to delete it.

Oh well.
