When my mother walked into my room, Monday morning, I said I felt sick. I woke up 30 minutes earlier to heat some water. I fetched a towel, dipped it in the water and put it on my forehead, so it would seem that I had a temperature.

"Oh dear." My mother said feeling my forehead. "Looks like you will need to stay home today."

"Okay." I said in a hoarse voice.

"Need anything sweetheart?" She said walking to the door.

"Uhmm... Milk and cookies?" I said pretending to cough.

"Sure." She smiled and closed the door.

As soon as I heard her footsteps fade, I reached under my pillow and grabbed my cellphone. I quickly dialed Beth's number.

"Ditching today." I told her quietly, making sure my mom couldn't hear me.

"Me too. What did you pull off?" She said.

"Fever. Boiling water."

"Vomit. Oatmeal and other gross food." She replied.

"What about Jessica?"

"Jess wasn't so lucky." She said sighing. "She tried to pull of a headache but her mom suspected something and decided that she would be going to school."

"Lame." I laughed. "She was never a good actress."

"I hope she's okay." Beth replied. "Shit. Moms here. Gotta goooo!"

"Bye." I laughed hanging up.

My mom soon returned with a tray of cookies and a glass of warm milk. I thanked her and bid her goodbye. I heard her and dad get into the car and drive out of the driveway. I jumped out of bed and played some music. I put my iPod oh shuffle and Chocolate by the 1975 immediately started playing.

I finished my cookies and milk and walked to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face and took a quick shower. I wrapped myself in a towel and walked over to my closet. Since I wasn't going anywhere today, I just chose to wear black cycling shorts and an oversized Beatles t-shirt.

I turned off the stereo and decided to walk downstairs and watch tv for a while. Maybe Reign was on. It's about this girl who's the queen of Scotland since she was born, and England is trying to invade Scotland. So now she has to Mary the prince of France so that they can join alliances and protect Scotland. It's basically politics. But it's pretty awesome politics.

After watching a few episodes, and experiencing a few heartbreaks, and shedding a few tears, I decided to order Pizza for lunch.

Again.

But seriously. It's pizza.

After getting my grub on with some pepperoni pizza, jumbo sized chips and a few cans of soda (how healthy am I?) I decided to call Beth again. I picked up my cellphone and dialed her number.

"Hello?" She said picking up.

"Hello there my sick friend!" I said greeting her.

"Major emergency Blair."

"What is it? Is everything okay?" My

voice sounding serious.

"Can you come over in a while? I would go there but mom decided to call up every 30 minutes to make sure I was ok."

"Of course." I said. "I'll be there in a few." And I hung up.

I immediately finished my healthy lunch and cleaned it up. I rushed up the stairs and into my room. However, because of the lazy ass I am I decided not to change. I grabbed a black sweater and put on my pink flip flops and rushed out the door. I texted my mom asking what time she would likely come home.

"7pm" she replied.

Okay 5 hours. I walked a few blocks and finally reached Beth's house. I jogged up to the door and rang the doorbell. Beth quickly answered it and shut the door. We both jogged up the stairs and flopped on her bed.

"Guess what happened." She said.

"Shoot."

"Jessica called me during lunch in the bathroom stall and she was crying." She said sighing.

"Oh God. What happened?" I said sitting up.

"The pictures from the party were printed. There are like a thousand 'Rosehill geeks!' posters plastered around the entire school. Everyone' been staring at her and mocking her the whole day. Someone even put a small can of blue paint in her locker."

"Damn it." I said standing up. "I knew shit like this would happen! Fuck Thomas! Fuck Monica! Fuck all of them!"

"Blair calm down!" She said holding my shoulder.

"Jesus I can't believe I went with that bastard! He tricked me into thinking he was actually a good guy!" I screamed.

"Blair calm down! My brother is still sleeping!" She said grabbing me by the shoulders.

"S-sorry. I just feel so stupid." I sat on the bed and cringed.

"Who isn't?" Jessica laughed but I wasn't so enthusiastic about jokes at the moment. "Oh come on Blair, we always get through this." She smiled at me.

"I guess so." I sighed.

"It's gonna be alright okay?" She said patting me on the back. I nodded.

"How about some ice cream to cheer you up?" she asked standing up.

"Cookies and Cream?" I asked hopefully.

"You know it baby." She winked and we proceeded downstairs to get a huge tub of ice cream and maybe watch tv.

After a few hours, our movie marathon came to an end and I had to bid Beth goodbye and get home. My mom called a few minutes before I reached my house and she asked where I was because she called the house and no one had answered. I told her I just took a walk to get some fresh air.

"Stay in bed and drink lots of water alright?" She said through the phone.

"Yes mom." I smiled. I stopped in my tracks. There was someone sitting at the front doorsteps. I walked closer and saw that it was none other than Carter.

"Mom I'll have to call you back." I said and hung up.
