It was all a lie?

Katniss P.O.V

I didn't really understand last night when gale said she was a vampire that she was , in fact a vampire. I didn't really think about it , let's face it I was half asleep. I sigh and stand up , putting clothes on and transporting to Silvano. I appear next to him and he jumps. "Silvano, a word?" I ask him and he nods. I sigh and sit down next to him. "You know last night" I start and he nods. "Yeah well you know how you killed a girl and made her a vampire?" I ask and he nod. "What the hell were you thinking?!" I say kind of loud. "Shh" he says and I bite my lip. "Oops , sorry" I say and he shrugs. "Silvano what has gotten into you?" I ask and he sighs. I sit back down and e sits next to me. "Katniss it's something that I don't even understand" he says and I look at him confused , searching his face for any emotion but every time I find one it soon fades away. "Silvano you can tell me anything" I say and he nods. "I know but this is unbelievable." He says standing up. I follow in suit and stand next to him. "Silvano, I've fought off demons , met mermaids , vampires , killed more people than I can count. My parents were killed and my sister. I found out I had magic powers and can live forever. And I can see and hear and speak to ghosts and animals and shape shift. I can do things unexplainable which completely defy the laws of physics. I'm sure I'll understand" I say and take a breath. He looks at the ground and then back at me. "You look different" I say noticing his new hair colour and eyes. "Yeah I know" he says, jaw clenched. "Follow me" he says. I follow him through to the next room where there sheets of paper and books. "You see here , my mother can't have children and hasn't been able to since 1943. Which doesn't explain how I got here. I was hidden in Catos family because I was paralysed. They changed my appearance. A wizard , he cast a spell on me that would change my appearance for exactly 13 years. So that's why I look different. "It also says here that my parents only had one child. He was born and raised here but left when he found true love. He was killed , car accident. He should have healed himself but he didn't. Why remains a mystery but he had other children. 3 to be precise and they were human. Or at least everyone thought they were. Anyway he died and it says here that the one and only prince was dead. Gone. But me being a vampire ,wasn't allowed near the other children. And being paralysed was too hard , financially. It also says that there was never any record of me here. I searched everywhere and I later found out that it was burned. What the same person accidentally told me was that the wizard put some kind of lock on my memories making me remember what they wanted me to. So I didn't realise that I wasn't there son, didn't know I had siblings. My mother left me something though and my grandfather gave it to me last night. Do you know what it was Katniss?" He asks and I shake my head. "It was a Mockingjay" he says holding up a pin. "And when my appearance changed , this appeared" he says pulling up the side of his shirt and I see a black mockingjay symbol on his side. "I'm not sure I know where you're going with this....." I say trailing off. "Katniss don't you see?" He says. "You and I are brother and sister!" He says and I gasp. "You finally figured it out" Silvanos "dad" says standing in the doorway. "I never wanted to keep it from you and when you said you had met them I needed to meet them too, to make sure. Katniss , I'm your grandfather" he says. "But you two are vampires my family doesn't have vampires" I say. "Katniss think. A vampire killed in a car crash. He didn't use his healing powers because he couldn't reveal that to you. Not after all those years of protecting you from what he was. And your mother. A witch" he says. "You are the mockingjay. You're more powerful than you think. More powerful than anyone thought. You could destroy humanity with the click of a finger but you use it for good deeds. Just like your father would have wanted" he says and I shake my head. "This can't be true" I say.

"Mommy where is my brother?" I ask tugging at my mothers dress. "You don't have a brother" she tells me strictly. I sigh. "But you were pregnant" I say confused. "He died!" She shouts frustratedly and tears swell up in my eyes.
