Hybrid

Silvano P.O.V

Fury rushes in and goes wide eyed. "Silvano what the hell did you do?!" He shouts at me and I look down. "He didn't do anything. He killed my brother so I killed him" a girl says. "He'll be waking up now, go see him" Silvano says. "Can you take me back?" She asks and I nod. I hold onto her and teleport back to New York City. A boy peels himself off the ground and runs towards us. He grabs his sister and they both start crying. "Thank you Silvano" she says. "You did this?" He asks and I nod. "Thank you!" He says and hugs me. "No problem" I say. "I wish you both a lifetime of happiness" I say. "I'm afraid I have to erase your memory" I say and she shakes her head. "Silvano no" she says. "I'm sorry" I say and a tear falls down her cheek. "You two will go home, last thing you remember is going out a walk when you fell and slipped on ice" I say and she nods. "You don't remember anything about me, just my name. Please don't forget me completely. Maybe we'll meet again someday but right now you just need to live life to the fullest , no matter what stick together. Family's the most important thing" I say compelling her and tears well up in my eyes. "Goodbye" I whisper and she just stares at me. I say the same to her brother and he smiles. "It doesn't work on me anymore. Maybe is because I died and came back but I'll always remember you. And I'll tell her someday but for now I think it's best" he says and I nod. "Bye" I say , teleporting back. It's sad how I had to erase her memory. It's hard not to have much human contact because one day they'll be gone and it's better they keep out of the supernatural world anyway. "Silvano what happened?" Fury asks and I just wrap my arms around his waist and hug him tightly. "Don't worry, he'll come back as a hybrid, I gave him my blood before she killed him. I put it in the drink" I say and he sighs. "Do you know what he has to live like now? The hunger for blood? The heightened emotion, Katniss will be furious" he says. "I know but I hope she understands" I say. "What were you thinking?!" He says. "I was thinking about the family that lost their child and the sister who wanted to kill herself because he was gone. I had an opportunity to fix it so I did" I say. "I know you meant well but what happens if something happens. He has to go through the change for both werewolf and vampire" he says and I stare at Peeta, neck broken and eyes closed. "I'm sorry" I say and he sighs and pulls me into his chest. "I really am I just , I couldn't live with the fact that I didn't do anything" I say. "I know Baby, it's okay" he says and I look at him and sigh shakily. "Shh, just calm down" he says and I bury my face in his neck. He kisses my cheek softly. "Go into the living room. I'll try wake him" he says and I nod and walk in.

Peeta P.O.V

I wake up gasping for air and my neck clicks. "I'm sorry" fury whispers and I look at him confused. "What happened?" I ask and he sighs. "Remember your secret?" He asks and I nod. "Silvano got the boy back to life" he says and I go wide eyed. "Did he kill me?" I ask. "Technically the boys sister killed you" he says and I take a deep breath. "Peeta you're a hybrid" he says and my heart stops. "Oh my god" I whisper.

Katniss P.O.V

I wake up gasping for air. "What happened?!" I ask standing up. "We don't know. One minute you were fine, next minute you were on the floor, we couldn't get in to check on you" Zayn says. "Anyway I have a concert in literally five minutes and my phone is blowing up. See you tomorrow" he says and turns and runs. I walk out the room and Marco looks at me worriedly. "Something happened to Peeta!" I say. "It's happened before. I can feel his pain. We need to go" I say. "Teleport us there" he says and I grab him and teleport. When we get there Peeta is sitting on the kitchen floor with fury next to him "What's going on?" I ask. "This girl killed Peeta and Silvano gave him his blood before she did it so now he's a hybrid. I swear I had nothing to do with it" he says. Peeta starts shaking and I look at him wide eyed. "What's happening?" I ask. "He's in transition" he says and I sigh. I lean down next to him and cuddle into him. "We need human blood" fury says. "Bloody hell" Marco says. "I'm not drinking human blood" he says. "Peeta you have to or you'll die" fury says. "We can't get human blood" Silvano says. I stand up and walk over to the kitchen sink. I grab the knife that's next to it. I slice my wrist with it and walk back over. "Doesn't that hurt?" Fury asks. "Used to it" I mumble and sit next to Peeta. "Katniss n-!" He starts to say but I put my writs up to his face. "Shut up and drink it" I say and soon he stops resisting and I place my hand on the side of his face. I soon feel fangs sink into my wrist and he pulls away, his eyes red. He has teary eyes and I sigh. "I love you" I whisper and kiss his cheek. He looks over at me with sad eyes and I sigh. I wrap my arms around him and lean against his chest. "No matter what I love you" I say. "Would you love me if I told you I killed an innocent teenager and left him to die?" He asks and I tense up. "What?" I ask. "When I was in New York a girl told me people were after you and I tried to kill one of them, accidentally killing an innocent teenage boy. I left him to die and listened to him scream for help and the only reason he's alive is because I was killed" he says and I take a deep breath. "You did what you thought you needed to. I'm not excusing what you did that was not right, you should have saved him and none of this would have happened but what's done is done" I say. "It must of cost allot to leave him" I say. "Katniss killing someone takes everything you have" he says and I sigh and he looks at me. "Please don't leave again" he says. "I have to" I say. "Until it's safe. I'll be back as soon as I can" I say and he nods. "I'll be back in a minute" I say standing up and walking to the other room where Silvano is. "So, you want to talk?" I ask sitting next to him and he looks up at me. "I'm sorry, I couldn't live with myself knowing that I could have done something to keep both of them alive" he says. "Well now you have a hybrid who's pissed at you so good luck with that" I say and he sighs. "I'm sorry, I screw everything up" he says. "Silvano I'm proud of you. Sure it's going to take some time to get my head around the idea that my fiancé is a hybrid but I'll get over it" I say and he sighs and pulls me into a hug. "Thank you Katniss" he says. "Now go back to the safe house or whatever. Can't have you in danger" he says and I smile slightly. There's a scream from the kitchen and we both rush in. "Katniss you need to leave, it's not safe for you here" fury says and I nod. "Bye Peeta" I say and grab Marco and teleport to the house. "Well that was something" he says and I sigh. "Told you my life was crazy" I say. "Katniss, from now on you need to be careful. I don't trust him" Marco says. "Well I do, Peeta would never hurt me" I say. "Katniss please just take my advice. Be careful, you can only be brought back to life so many times" he says. "Are you telling me you think he'll kill me?" I ask. "Anything is possible now" he says and I shake my head. "He's changed now. Katniss he left a teenager to die in the street and now he's a hybrid" he says. "He was doing it for me" I say. "So what happens the next time someone's after you. His emotions are heightened. He could kill more people and they wouldn't get their lives back" he says and I stare at him. "Look Katniss, I know he loves you, I know you love him. It's obvious , a blind man could see it. I'm just telling that everything has changed now. People change when they turn. Some for the better, some for the worse but I tell you this. And I believe it 100 percent. He's a danger to you now, he's unpredictable. So I suggest that until he's used to it that you make sure your safe. You should come first" he says and I sigh. "I will" I choke out and tears start to form in my eyes. Marco walks over to me and pulls me into a hug. "I've heard about all you've been through. If it was me I'm not sure I could cope with it but somehow you do Katniss. I admire that about you but I want you to be safe. After this is all over I can compel you and make you forget-" he says and I cut him off. "I don't want to forget Marco. I can't, it won't be the same. My life has been bad ever since I was 12. Everything that came after that makes me who I am today. I can't just forget, it's not right" I say. "Well it's up to you Katniss. Maybe this is a good thing, you getting away for a while. It gives you a break" he says and I just nod. "Why don't you go get rest? We'll try again tomorrow" he says and I nod and walk upstairs. I walk to the bathroom and stand in front of the mirror. I look down at my engagement ring and smile slightly before looking back up. I wipe off my makeup and tie my hair up before waking out. I change out of my clothes into pyjamas which Zayn brought me. I climb under the covers and turn the light off and lay my head on the pillow. When did life become so hard?
