I wake up to my alarm and groan. I get out of bed and trudge to Silvano's room, opening the door and walking in. It's to early to be up. I walk over to Silvano's bed and shake him slightly. His eyes flicker open and he smiles slightly. "Morning" he says. "Morning. You need to get up for school" I say and he nods. I walk out the room and go downstairs to Prims and wake them. I head up to Ashton's and walk in to see them both on the bed cuddling. Okay that's cute. I walk over and shake him slightly and he opens his eyes. "Hey" he says. "Are you going to stay off with Caroline today?" I ask and he nods. "Okay, I'll phone the school and explain what's happened" I say and he nods. I walk downstairs and put cereal and milk out and juice. They all come I. And I head to the shower and then get ready. I walk downstairs again and go into the kitchen where they are all talking and laughing. "You ready?" I ask and they nod and grab their bags. "Me and Austin are walking" rue says and I nod. "Okay, see you later" I say and she smiles. "Can you drop Rory off?" Prim asks and I nod. "Sure, let's go" I say and we walk to the car and all get in. I drive to school, stopping at the forest and picking up Rory. When we get there I go inside and explain to the office what's happened and she said it was fine. I walk back to the car and drive home and see Peeta leaving the house. I get out the car and walk over to him. "What are you doing?" I ask. "Just going to the bakery" he says and I smile. "I'll drop you" I say and he smiles and wraps an arm around me. "Thank you" he says and I smile. We get in the car again and I drive to the bakery. "When will it be open for business?" I ask. "Monday probably. I'm waiting on a delivery to come and I still need to pick one worker" he says. "How many applied?" I ask. "10" he says and I nod. "Just choose the person who's most experienced" I say. "I think I'll have to" he says and I smile. I pull up at the bakery and smile. "I'll pick you up when you're done. Text me" I say and he nods. "Okay bye" he says brushing his lips against mine. "You're such a tease" I say smiling and he smirks. "I know" he says and I crash my lips into his. "Bye" I say smiling and pulling away. "Bye, love you" he says. "Love you too" I say grinning and he shuts the door and I drive home again. When I get there I go inside and ashton and caroline are sitting at the breakfast bar and she is crying while ashton holds her hand. "Shh caroline I promise it will be okay" he says and I walk right in. "Morning" I say and he smiles slightly. "You okay?" I ask and she shakes her head. "I'm all alone" she says. "No you're not" ashton says and she takes a deep breath. "What am I going to d- A knock at the door cuts her off and I walk over to it. "Is Caroline here?" A woman asks and I nod. "Come in" I say and she smiles slightly and follows me to the kitchen. "Caroline sweetie, I'm the social worker" she says and Caroline's face goes pale. "Please don't take me to an orphanage" she says and the social worker takes a deep breath. "We have to" she says sadly. Ashton stands up and walks around the table , hugging her and she cries on his chest. Annie walks into the kitchen and smiles sadly. "Is she okay?" She whispers to me and I shake my head. "Caroline we need to go now. There's one just outside of Panem we can take you to." She says and I look at Annie. "How far outside Panem?" She asks. "30 miles" she says and Caroline shakes her head. "Panem is my home. You can't just take me away from it" she says and the social worker sighs. "Caroline you have no choice" she says and she shakes her head. "I'm not going" she says and I bite my lip. Caroline stands up and tries to leave but the social worker grabs her arm and Caroline looks at her frightened. "Let go of me" she says. "Caroline you are coming with me" she says and Caroline winces. "You're hurting me" she says but she holds on tighter. "Ouch!" She yelps in pain and glares at the social worker who screams and falls to the ground. I look at her shocked. "You're a mockingjay" I say and se nods. She walks over to us. "Please don't let her take me" she says and hugs Annie and looks at me scared. "I think you need to leave" I say picking her up off the floor. "I'm not leaving without her" she says. "What was that?" I ask. I use my mind control power on her and she shakes her head. "Nothing" she says. "You're going to leave this house and you are not going to come back. You will go to the police station and tell them that you hurt a teenage girl and you will tell your boss The same thing" I say and she nods. "I'm going to leave this house and I'm not going to come back. I'm going to tell the police and my boss what I did" she says and I smile. "Very good. Now go" I say and she turns around and walks out. I sigh and turn around to see Annie hugging her tightly and Caroline crying again. "I'll be back in a few minutes" Annie says and Caroline let's go of her and hugs ashton again. "You okay?" He asks and she puts her wrist up and there are nail marks and blood. I shake my head and clean it up and ashton heals it with his powers. "Wait so are you all mockingjays?" She asks and we nod. "Most of us" I say. "I thought I was the only one" she says and I smile.
