Katniss P.O.V

"Then stay at home next time. Me and Katniss will do it" he says and Marco shakes his head. "Listen, you're speaking for thousand of vampires all over the world. If you die. It will put an end to them. Why don't you get the witch who wants my powers and I get your psychopathic vampire hunter" I say and he shakes his head. "Marco ,please" I say and he groans. "Katniss if something goes wrong-" he starts and Zayn cuts him off. "I'll be there" he says and I nod. "Fine" he huffs. "Marco were talking about every single vampire ever" I say and he just nods. "Let's get home" I say and they both hold onto me. I teleport to outside Zany's house and see a girl standing at the door. "Is that her?" I whisper to him and he nods. I clear my throat and the girl turns around with tears in her eyes. "What's wrong?" Zayn asks and she runs over and hugs him. "Matt broke up with me" she says and he sighs and looks at me. "Tell her" I mouth and he looks down at her uneasily. "I don't even know why I'm here. I know you've got a concert" she says and he shakes his head. "It's okay, you go inside and I'll be in just now" he says and she nods and walks inside. He turns to us and smirks at me. "What?" I ask. "Can you maybe shapeshift into me and sing?" He asks. "What? Zayn I can't" I say. "Come on. You know all the words. Nobody will notice" he says. "Please I don't want to leave her" he says and I groan. "Fine" I huff and he smiles and hugs me. "You need to hurry" he says and I sigh and show shift. "Bye" I say. "Don't tell the boys" he says and I nod. "See you later" I say and teleport. I can't believe I'm doing this. I appear in an empty changing room just as liam is about to walk in. "There you are mate. Been looking everywhere" he says and I smile slightly and he grabs me. "You need changed" he says and I nod. After I'm ready we all stand by the side of the stage and watch the concert.

After the 5sos boys are done we all go on. Liam greets the crowd and harry walks towards me. "Hey Kat" he says. "Hey harry" I say not thinking and he smirks. "I knew it was you. Keep up the act" he says and I smile. We start with Midnight Memories and I sing zayns solo. It was actually really fun. The crowd was amazing and it felt really good to be up on stage. I could do this again.

When the concert was over I was informed we had a meet and greet. We all went to a changing room and they all turned to me. "What?" I ask. "We know it's you Katniss" Niall says and I groan and change back. "How?" I ask. "Because Zayn just texted me asking how the concert was" Liam says. "Well I'm sorry but there was a crying girl who was dumped and he asked me to do it" I say and they sigh. "Yeah we'll keep up the act for the fans because they're going to be all over you" louis says and I sigh.

Zayn P.O.V

Brooke sits next to me and I glance over at her. She is staring in front of her and I sigh. "Want to talk about it?" I ask and she shakes her head. "I'm not even upset he dumped me, I'm upset about why he did it" she says and I raise an eyebrow. "Okay so last week I saw him talking in his phone and smiling so I asked who it was and he got really defensive. Today he confessed to me that he has been sleeping with one of my best friends. When I texted her I realised that I sent it to the wrong friend but before I could tell her I didn't mean to send it she confessed that she had, so I sent it to my other best friend too and she confessed. He was sleeping with both of them and I told him I didn't know what to do and he said and I quote 'I don't care. You're a fat and ugly bitch and I was using you to get to your friends'. I came here after that" she says and I clench my jaw. "I swear if I ever see him..." I say trailing off and she shakes her head. "Just leave him" she says. "He's not even worth it" she tells me and I sit back in the couch. She looks at the ground and I go wide eyed slightly. "You don't believe him do you?" I ask. She shrugs and a few tears fall. "Brooke you are not ugly or fat or a bitch. You are beautiful, okay. Anyone is blind to see that and you're nowhere near fat" I say and she looks up at me kind of shocked. "Really?" She asks. "Come on, what size are you?" I ask and she shakes her head. "I'm not telling you" she says. "Tell me" I say. "I'm a size 8/10" she says sighing. "That's a perfect size. All sizes are perfect but don't let what he says get to you. He's just trying to make you feel bad" I say and she moves closer to me and lays her head on my shoulder. "Zayn" she says quietly and I clear my throat. "Yeah?" I ask. "Will anyone ever love me?" She asks and I take a deep breath. "Someone already does" I whisper and she looks up at me , eyes still glassy with tears and I wait for her to reply. "What?" She asks confused. I sigh and look at her beautiful face. "Well, I've never told you this before. I was scared incase I'd freak you out or something but do you remember when you were turned and I told you everyone had a mate?" I ask and she nods. "You're mine" I say and she goes wide eyed. "Really?" She asks and I nod. "How do I know if you're mine?" She asks softly. "There's only one way to know for sure" I whisper. "What?" She asks. "We have to kiss and if you get a weird sensation in your stomach or a pain and if the kiss feels different then you will know" I say and she nods, subconsciously moving closer. "Brooke" I whisper and her eyes flicker down to my lips and back up. "What?" She mumbles. "You don't have to do this" I say. "I want to" she whispers and places her lips on mine. This kiss is like no other I've ever had. It's electric , it feels like my stomach is on fire, like my lips are going numb and my heart is pounding in my chest. She pulls away after a few seconds and rests her forehead against mine. "Zayn?" She asks and I nod slightly. "That was amazing" she says shyly. I cup her face in my hands and look at her longingly. "I've wanted to do that for such a long time" I say and she blushes. "I felt it. The pain and the weird sensation" she says and cuddles into my chest. "Brooke" I say and she looks up again. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask and she nods and smiles before going back to her previous position. "I'd love to" she whispers.
