I wake up in the morning and sigh. Peetas still asleep. I think I just upset him by talking about it. "Peeta" I whisper and shift slightly in his arms. "Peeta" I say louder and he opens his eyes. "Have you been crying again?" I ask and he looks down. "Hey, it's okay" I tell him and cuddle him tightly. "Want to talk about it?" I ask. "No I just had a dream , it's okay" he tells me and kisses my cheek. "I'm just going to get as shower okay?" I ask and he nods. He lets me go and I shower quickly before getting dressed and walking out to the room. I apply some foundation and mascara and lipgloss before walking over to Peeta. I run a hand through his hair and he turns around. "I'm going out for a while , I'll be back. Are you coming or staying?" I ask him. "I'll stay" he says hoarsely and I nod. "Okay , I'll see you in a while, I love you" I tell him and he smiles slightly. "I love you" he whispers and closes his eyes again, going back to sleep. I turn the lights off and take the key before heading to Finnick and Annie's room. I knock on the door quietly and hear footsteps before Finnick answers the door. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Peeta. We uh talked about that thing that he left the letter about and he's really upset" I tell him and he sighs and opens the door wider so I can get in. "I think he just needs a while but just make sure there's no blades , no nothing that he can hurt himself with. And try cheer him up" he tells me and I nod. "Thanks. I'm really worried" I say and he nods. "I know, he'll be fine. It's not like last time. He stopped it. He would never start again but just incase" he says and I nod. "Thanks Finnick" I say hugging him. "It's okay. Good luck" he says and I nod and walk out the room. I run back to the room and go inside. "Peeta" I say walking in and he's sitting up in bed. "Why don't we go a walk, clear your mind?" I ask and he nods. "Just let me get ready" he says and stands up. I walk over to him and hug him. "Remember that I love you, no matter what" I say kissing his cheek. "I love you too" he says and I smile. He walks into the bathroom and comes out ten minutes later with a towel around his waist. He gets changed quickly before walking over to me and sitting down. "Ready?" I ask. "Yeah" he says and we stand up. We walk downstairs and out the main doors and start walking down the street. He interlaces our fingers and I hold onto his arm with my other hand. "I can't believe I'm engaged to you" he says and I smile. "I can't believe I'm engaged to you" I say and he smiles slightly. "You should have someone better though" he says. "No Peeta, I want you. I need you. You're whats best for me and you have changed my life. Don't think I'm the only one that saved you. I was going to kill myself too and you kept me going. We saved each other and that's why we're perfect together" I say and he looks down. "Peeta don't think this changes my opinion on you. If doesn't. You're sill my amazing fiancé who I love and care about. The one who I love more than anything. This is just one of the things you've been through. I have things too. Don't think bad about yourself because you are the most amazing person in the world" I say and stop and cuddle him. "Thanks Kat. You really know how to cheer someone up" he says kissing my cheek "I love you." I say and he smiles slightly. "I love you too" I say and I lean in, pressing my lips against his softly. He kisses back and pulls me into him. "Thanks" he says laying his head on my shoulder. "What for?" I ask. "Everything" he mumbles and I smile. I cuddle into his side and he smiles and wraps an arm around me. "We keep walking down the street and Peeta drags me into a shop. "Want a drink?" He asks me. "Uh a-" I say but he cuts me off. "Can I have two strawberry fruit coolers?" He asks and pays for them. "Sure" I say and he smiles and pulls me into him. The girl hands us them and smiles. "Have a nice day" she says smiling and I do too. "You too" I tell her and we both walk out. We are nearly out when I turn around and see her staring at the counter with glassy eyes. "2 seconds, I'll be back" I say walking back over to her and Peeta walks outside. "Hey are you okay?" I ask. "Sure" she says smiling. "Who are you kidding?" I ask and she sighs. "Don't worry I'm okay" she says. "What's your name?" I ask. "Alannah" she says. "Here , take this" I say writing down my number and hand it to her. "I'll only be here for another week but message me" I say. "I'm Katniss by the way" I say and she smiles slightly. "Thanks" she says. "No problem. Don't be scared to text or anything" I say and she nods. "Bye" I say walking out to Peeta. "Bye" she calls after me. "Want to go back to the hotel?" I ask and he nods. "Okay I just want to tell you something before we go" I say and he looks at me. "You can talk to me about anything, I won't judge you. And please relax and put the past behind us. What matters is now. We're engaged and I couldn't be happier" I say and he nods. "Me either" he says taking my free hand and we walk along while drinking our juice.
