Annie P.O.V

"She's what?!" Gale says and everyone looks at him. "Peeta said she fell to the ground screaming and then something passed her and she was gone" I say and they all look at each other. "Has anyone tried talking to her?" Finch asks and I nod. "Peeta did. He said she wouldn't answer" I say and they all sigh. "I'm sure she's fine. There will be a reasonable explanation for thi- Jade starts to say but my phone beeping cuts me off. "It's from Katniss" I say confused. "Hey guys, I'm okay. I don't know how long I'll be gone but I need to stay hiding for a while. I'm with someone who's protecting me and there's other people here too. I'll explain everything when I get back but that could be a month away. Love you all. Say hi to ashton for me and will one of you go to the Ellen show with him? Anyway if you hear any news on prim please try message me. Where I am has really bad service so you could be getting this late. Sorry if I worried you. I promise you I'm good here. I just need to hide from someone. Love you all, miss you xx" I read out and they all look at me confused. "Who's she hiding from?" Johanna asks. "Don't know" I say worriedly. They all look at each other uneasily. I really hope she's alright.

Peeta P.O.V

"Silvano this is driving me insane, what happened to her?!" I say , tears threatening to spill. "Peeta it's okay. She'll be fine" I say, trying to convince all of us. "It was definitely a vampire that took her" fury says. "Yeah we know that, but why?" I ask. "That pain is usually the main one that witches use" Silvano says. "Which means that there's a witch after her, we just don't know why or why the vampire wanted her" Silvano says. "Well gee thanks. Now I feel better" I say sarcastically and they sigh. "Just go to bed and we'll figure it out in the morning" Silvano says and I sigh and walk into the bedroom , mumbling a night on the way out. I know I'm not going to sleep anyway. I change into pyjama bottoms and climb under the covers, pulling them over me. I stare at her side of the bed and a tear rolls down my cheek. I hope she's okay. "Peeta" I hear her say softly in my mind and I scrunch my eyebrows together. "Katniss is that you?" I send back. "Yeah. I can't sleep" she sends and I sigh. "Where are you?" I ask her. "I'm safe. For now anyway. The very first vampire is alive and saved me. A witch was trying to track me for my powers. Anyway just make sure the boys go to all their meetings and be their legal guardian" she sends back. "How long will you be gone?" I send her. "I don't know Peeta" she sends. "I love you" I send back. "I love you. I promise you I'm safe and I'll talk to you tomorrow" she send. "Night" I send back and close my eyes. "Night" she whispers before I can't hear anything anymore and I'm drifting off to sleep.

Prim P.O.V

"Please" I whisper and the nurse looks at me with teary eyes. "I'm sorry" she says. "Please I just need to call him" she says. "I'm sorry but there's no contact allowed until further notice" she says and my eyes turn red and I pin her against the wall. She looks at me frightened and I sigh. "You don't remember anything" I say compelling her and she nods. "You okay sweetie?" She asks and I break down crying. She hugs me and sighs. "I know what you are and compulsion doesn't work on me. Nice try though" she says and I tense. "Don't worry. I'm not scared of you, I'm just determined to help you" she says and I nod. "Thank you" I say and she walks out, closing my door. I sit on the bed and start crying. "Prim!" Someone shouts in my head. "Rory?" I ask. "It's me, I'm so sorry. I should never have broken up with you, I love you" he says and I start crying more. "I'm sorry too. I love you" I say and sobs escape my mouth. "I promise when you get back I'll protect you and look after you. I'll never let you get away again" he sends and I lay in the bed. "Thank you. I miss you" I send back. "I miss you too. Listen I got to go now. I'll talk to you everyday until you're out. Love you" he sends. "Love you" I send him and he stops trying to communicate. I stare at the ceiling and listen to the screams and cries of patients all through the hospital. I close my eyes, finding peace in my mind and soon fall asleep.
