Last day

Katniss P.O.V

After Peeta had slept for a while I took Sam for a walk. When I got back everyone was arriving home. Well everyone except Alfie. "Guys I can't believe you left Alfie. Why did you do that because he was all alone" I say and they all laugh. "You are mean" I say. "He is with his girlfriend"they says and I nod. "Wait , girlfriend!" I say and they all nod. "Go Alfie!" I say and run inside. I let Sam of his leash and walk upstairs to see Peeta. "Hey" I say when I see him sitting on the bed. "Hi" he says and I smile and walk over to him. "How are you feeling?" I ask him. He shrugs and lays his head down. "Come here" I say and he comes over and hugs me tightly. I rest my head on his shoulder. He sighs heavily and moves to sit down. "Are you alright?" I ask him and he nods. "Just lightheaded" he tells me. I nod my head and sit down next to him. I wrap an arm around him and he sniffles. "Do you want to sleep again?" I ask. "I'm not tired anymore" he croaks out and I nod. "What do you want to do?" I ask him. "I want to lay down with you and cuddle because your the only one that can make me feel better" he says and I smile and lay down next to him. He pulls me into his arms. I lay down and trace shapes on his chest. He is shivering so I pull the covers up over us so we are warm. I smile and close my eyes. "Katniss" he mumbles. "Yeah?" I say and open my eyes again. "Thanks for looking after me" he says and I smile . "You don't need to thank me" I say. He kisses my head and strokes my hair. Hopefully he's better in the morning.

I wake up the bed in the movie room with Peeta next to me. I smile and shake him slightly. "Peeta!" I say and his eyes shoot open. "What" he says in a somewhat normal voice. "Your better!" I say and hug him. "Yeah I'm fine now" he says kissing me. I smile and hug him. "Thank god because it's everyone's last day" I say. "And we are going camping tomorrow" I say and he smiles brightly. "KATNISS IM TAKING SAM A WALK!" Clove shouts. "OKAY!" I shout back and she laughs. I smile and turn around to Peeta. "You need to give me a kiss because I didn't get any yesterday" he says and I roll my eyes. "Please" he says and I smile. I lean in and peck his lips. "Fine" I mumble against his lips and kiss him passionately. He kisses back and pulls me into a hug. "Love you" he says and I smile. "Love you too" I say. "Let's go downstairs" I say and get up. He nods and follows me to the living room where we find everyone except Clove and Cato. "Thank god Peeta I thought you were dead" Annie says and he rolls his eyes. "Ha ha" he says sarcastically and everyone laughs. "What are the plans for today?" I ask. "Well Alfie is ditching us for his girlfriend" Johanna says. "Joe is going out with his girlfriend" Finnick says. "And Ruby and Harry are spending the day together" Cameron says. I swear this is like their second home. "So that leaves us and Nicole and Casper" I say and everyone nods. "Actually" Casper says. "Your not ditching is too are you?" I ask and he smiles. "Me pfft no" he says. "Casper!" I say. "Sorry me and Nicole are going out on a date while we're here" he says. "Okay then what about everyone else. Have you got any plans?" I ask and everyone shakes their heads. "Katniss I picked up your pills for you" he says and I sigh. "I don't want to take them" I say. "Well you have to" he tells me sternly and I roll my eyes. Something k tend to do way to much. "OH I HAVE AN IDEA!" Finnick shouts. "WHAT!" I shout back. "We should go to the beach" he says and we all nod in agreement. "Okay everyone meet back here in half an hour" I say and everyone nods while running off. Me and Peeta go up to our room and I go to my wardrobe. I pick out my blue strapless bikini , a pair of denim shorts and a pair of brown leather flip flops. When I'm ready I tie my hair in a messy bun and put some natural makeup on. I put my aviators on my head , grab my blue iPod and earphones and shove them in a bag before heading out to Peeta. I grab some sun cream and lip balm before putting deodorant and body spray on. When I'm ready I start to go downstairs when Annie stops me. "I invited Alex and Ashton" she says and I nod. "Okay" I say and walk downstairs. Everyone is waiting on me except clove who is still getting ready. I sit down on Peeta because there was no space on the couch. I kiss his cheek and everyone awes. I just laugh at them.
