Sandy's side of the story

She shivers at the sensation of his lips on hers. The truth is that she had never had a real kiss before. She just write stories with scenes like this despite not knowing what it truly feels like. His lips are so soft and warm. He kisses her gently exerting different sensation into her veins. It’s hypnotizing and she felt like she could stay like that for eternity…..the kiss ended and they gasp for air….Sandy could feel herr cheeks heating. She rises up and left him hurriedly. She's moving her way outside when she felt his hand to grab her arm.

            “Sandy......” she turns around. His hair is dripping wet and she met his gaze.

            “I don’t have any other way of explaining it……I’m not good with this but I want you to know that I like you…..Sandy, did you hear me? I said I like you…I only have you in my eyes……and I want you to see me as a man…”

Jared’s eyes are filled with emotions when he said that. Her heart is beating so much that she can’t take it. Sandy felt overwhelmed with the things that happened on the past few minutes. Her mind is not functioning well so she doesn’t know how to react. The only thing that comes to her is to get away and be alone so she left him there and walks away.

Sandy was just lying on the bed with her eyes open. It’s already midnight and she's not sleepy yet even though she told aunt Alicia that she wanted to rest early. She heard her phone rang. It’s a message from Jared.

To: Sandy

From: Jared

Let’s talk…I’ll meet you at the garden.

Sandy bit her lips after reading that. Obviously he’ll bring up the thing that happened two days ago. After that incident, she tried to avoid crossing paths with him. She didn’t eat meals if he’s there saying she's not hungry and refused to leave the room because of the novel she's working on. But of course, she cannot do that forever. 

Shall I pretend I’m sleeping and not go there? she thought however, Sandy still found her feet walking towards the garden. It’s very quiet surely aunt and Allyson are now sleeping on their rooms. The maid is not around as well. Sandy sees him there sitting at the bench. He’s still wearing his office clothes sans the coat and tie so she guest that he just arrived.

Her feet are stuck from where she stands hesitating to come near him. He turned around and gestured her to sit next to him. He suddenly lies in her lap and grabs her hand. Sandy tried to take it back but then he holds it tighter.

            “Stay still….you have to grant me this one..remember the bet we had?” Jared said with his eyes closed. Sandy didn’t complain anymore and just look at him. His voice seems tired and she also smelled alcohol in his breath….

            “It won’t work out this way…” He said after a while. He opened his eyes and stares at her.

            “I kissed you because I want to…what I said to you that day, I mean it…so would you please stop torturing me this way and just face it with me?” Sandy felt like he’s having a hard time. Why, what did I do? she asked herself.

            “I….don’t know what to say….I can’t give you an answer now. Could you give me some time?” she finally found her voice. He closes his eyes again but this time, no more creases on his forehead. They remained on that position for a while and before she knows it, she's already combing his hair with her hand while he is gently squeezing her other hand still with eyes closed.

Sandy lays down to her bed and about to sleep when her phone received a message.

To: Sandy,

From: Jared

Take your time and I’ll wait for you…

’till the day that you accept me..

Just don’t make me wait for so long….

Sleep tight ♥

Sandy felt a warm feeling enveloped her heart.
