Sandy's side of the story

Sandy stayed in Seoul for one more day to visit her parents. They were so happy to see her again.

“You should come home once in a while…” her mom said as they wait for everyone’s car.

They are standing in front of the hotel. The family had lunch together with Julian and his mom.

Everyone is happy and the get together had a light atmosphere. The tension from last time totally vanished. Now, everyone talk and laugh like what they used to.

“I’ll try to visit you when I’m free from work…”

“Now that we know where to find you, we could visit you if you can’t come..” said her dad.

                “Yes…I might tour you around…”

Her parent’s car is now in front of them. The valet parker came out of it and hand over the key to her father.

                “Sandy…”

“You can go now omma…my car is here too.” she said pointing at the car coming.

“Promise me you won’t go far again…” She said as she embraced her.

                “Yes…”

“We’ll see you soon..” Her dad gave her a hug too.

                “Yes…drive safely dad.”

The two ride the car.

“I’m really glad to see that you’re doing well now…take care of yourself Sandy…”

Julian’s mom said while holding her hand.

“I’m happy to see you too Auntie…Be healthy..”

She nodded and rides another car. Julian opened the car door for her. Sandy was  about to ride to it when he talk.

“He’s wearing the same wristwatch.” He said looking at her wristwatch. She eyed him.

“We ran to each other about a week ago. He now knows what happened.”

She didn’t say anything.

“Don’t hesitate….both of you still wear that thing meaning you still love each other. Stop hiding yourself from him…Tell him how you feel. I’m sure he’ll take you back with open arms…”

She gave him a reserved smile.

“I’m not sure if I would like to go back there…I don’t have that confidence anymore.”

                “Sandy…”

                “I’ll go now…see you..”

She tapped his arm lightly before riding the car.  Not long after, his car came next to hers on the road. Both of them roll down their windows.

“I’ll see you again…Take care!” He said.
