Sandy's side of the story

“You don’t understand….I can't go to you like that…” Sandy looked at Juliann who’s now sitting on the couch on the other side of the room. She's done crying. It’s really sad knowing what happened.  She just found out that the one sided love she thought she had with him was a hoax. It was not an unrequited love after all. It’s just the two of them were stupid enough to do the first move.

“You just had what, more than a month with him? The relationship you have is not yet that deep. It’s not yet late to come out of it…” His voice is promising and convincing.

“It’s not about the time I had with him Julian…..I love him..”

He came near her and cupped yher face on his hands. He stares straight to Sandy's eyes.

“But you love me too right? Let’s not make it hard for the both of us…I’m done keeping what I truly feel and I don’t want to live like that anymore…I love you and I won’t let you go now…”

                “I loved you and that’s true…but that’s in the past…Jared is the one I love now…I really love him  and I won’t leave him…not even for you…I’m sorry Julian….”

He let go of her face. Julian’s eyes became teary.  Sandy is sure that he got hurt with what she said.

“You’re not in a good shape now..I think you’ll never say things like that if you have your memory…”

“Sandy....” He tried to hold her again but she avoided it and walk to the door.

“I don’t think you could still stay….I’ll call auntie to tell her that you’ll go home.” she didn’t bother to look at him and just walk out of that room.

“You don’t like your food?” Jared says because he noticed that Sandy hardly touches her food.

                “I just don’t feel like eating…”

“Are you sick?” he says in a worried tone.

“No I’m fine…I’m just tired today.”

“Do you want to go home now?”

                “Just finish your food…”

                “I lost my appetite..”

                “I’m sorry.”

“You don’t have to..let’s go.” He grabs her jacket and purse then assist her to stand.

He tucked her to bed. He’s about to leave but Sandy grabbed his sleeve.

                “Don’t leave….stay with me..”

He didn’t say anything but after a few minutes decided to lie beside her. He put his arm below her head while the other one around her.

                “Where’s Julian?” he asks.
