Sandy's side of the story

Supermarket

She stretch her arm and tiptoed to get some items on the top part of the rack but a man gets the item for her.

                “Here.”

                “Aidan!” He smiled at her.

“Thank you. Why are you here?” Then her eyes went down to the grocery basket on his hand.

“Doing some groceries…Jared hyung left my cupboards empty..”

She smiles upon hearing his name. Jared went back to Busan yesterday.

“Don’t worry I’ll tell him about restocking them for you.”

The two of them walk side by side. Jared usually stays at Aidan’s house when he’s here at Seoul.

“You don’t have to…Actually it’s good that he’s at my house because he cooks.”

Sandy didn’t comment on his remark.

                “How’s your business?”

“Doing good…I could somehow manage them both..”

She remembers attending the opening of his new bar and honestly, she liked the place.

“How about you, how are you managing?”

She looked up on him.

“I mean boyfriend and best friend rivalry.” He’s straightforward. Sandy left out a sigh.

“Must be hard on you…Jared hyung is always worried although he’s not saying anything. It is because he truly loves you. I never seen him like that before you came. You’re the first woman he cared so much for aside from his mother and sister.”

“I know how lucky I am.”

“He’s lucky too because he found you….To tell you the truth, I admire your relationship…sometimes I wish I could have a love same like yours…”

She blinked her eyes. He doesn’t seem to be joking.

“Then why don’t you try. I’m sure there’s a lot of girls who would love to be love by you..”

Aidan smiles.

“Maybe you could set me a date?”

She shrugged her shoulders.

“I don’t know if I could reach your standard.”

They both chuckled and he carried her basket for her.

“Be strong…everything will be okay…” he said.
