Sandy's side of the story
“Allyson looked so tired…” Sandy said.
“She’s a morning person so it’s a bit difficult for her to stay up late…” Jared glanced at Allyson sleeping at the back seat. They’re on their way home. Suddenly, your phone rang…it’s
Julian..she looks at Jared.
“Excuse me…” “Sure..take that call…”
“Oh, Julian!” she greeted in a cheerful voice.
“Where are you?” she could imagine his eyebrows furrowing.
“I’m in Busan now. Why?” she pretended like she's clueless.
“You know that we’ll be back today right?”
“So?”
“What do you mean so?! You promised us that we’ll have a meal after we came back.”
Sandy couldn’t help but smile.
“I got it…sorry…I’ll make it up on you…by the way, how’s Helene?”
“She’s doing good…she wants to see you too. My wife says she’ll be preparing foods for you so you should visit us in our new house and have dinner with us okay?”
“I’ll be going back to Seoul the day after tomorrow..I’m going to the office so I think I’ll drop by after that.”
“Alright..don’t forget okay?”
“Did you bring something for me from Paris?”
“Of course! That’s why you should go here right away or else, I’ll give it to someone else.” He said teasingly.
“What?! Just do that and you’ll see what I’ll do to you!” then they both laugh…
“sandy…I missed you..” he said seriously making her feel touched.
“I missed you too…” she said. “Okay, I need to hang up…” Sandy decided to cut off the conversation.
“Alright..take care!” his voice became lively again. She breathe out a sight…he’s back so she's wondering what she will feel the moment she see him again.
“The reason for you being a writer… he’s that person right?” your attention flew to Jared’s question.
“Yes..” she remembers telling him about that.
“We’ve been on each other's life for as long as I could remember…He’s the only best friend I have and that’s what I am for him as well…I couldn’t imagine my life without him on it so I tried to be closer to him.” she tried to tell it in a casual tone
“You like him not just a friend…”Jared said as if he’s sure on it.
“You could tell? Well, it’s just a one sided thing on my part because I never dare tell him…” Sandy were a bit surprised that he saw through her but decided to tell him the truth anyway.
