Sandy's side of the story

She opens the window on her side and make her eyes amazed by the sea. Sandy takes a deep breath and let her lungs be filled with the fresh air of Busan.

            “Miss, are you here for vacation or work?” the taxi driver asks her.

            “Both..” she enjoys her ride talking with the nice driver..After an hour of travel they finally reach her destination. Once she got all her bags from the taxi she press the doorbell of the white gate in front of her.

            “Are you Ms. Sandy?" The maid who opened the gate asked her before she could even greet.

            “Ah, yes that’s me..”

            “Come in, Madame is waiting for you..” she helps her with some of the bags. Sandy follows the woman. The place has a great landscape. The big house is in the middle of the garden. The door opens even before they reach it. The person she was looking for is there giving a nice smile.

            “Sandy”!

            “Auntie!” she gives her a hug.

            “What took you so long? I told you that I would send a someone to pick you up right?”

            “There’s no need…After all, it’s not really that hard to find your house.” They enter the house and the woman tells the maid to bring her stuffs upstairs in the room they prepare for her.

            “I’m really glad that you finally visit me.” As both of them sit on the sofa.

            “I told you once I cleared my schedule then I would”

            “Yes that’s right..You really need a vacation..It seems that you became thin than the last time I saw you.” Aunt Alicia said while filling her glass with orange juice.

            “Auntie, you have a nice house. It’s much better than you described it to be”. Sandy says after taking a sip from the glass.

            “Ah, about that? I like re-decorating the house since I have lots of time.”

She puts a blue colored paper bag on the coffee table.

            “I bought you something I hope you would like it.”

            “Oh God, this girl…you don’t have to.” Surprise is all over the woman’s face.

            “It’s not that much Auntie. I just though I couldn’t go here empty handed.”

            “You’re really sweet…” The woman gently pat her hands.

Then they heard someone coming so both turns around.

            “Omma! I’m here!” She sees a pretty lady standing there. She’s wearing a school uniform.

            “Oh, Allyson…” Aunt greets the lady.

            “Sandy, this is my daughter Allyson, Allyson this is Sandy the guest

that I’m talking to you about.” Aunt introduce you to each other.

            “Hi Sandy unni! I’m Allyson. Welcome to our house!” Allyson looks excited as she sits on the sofa in front of her.

            “Hello Allyson. Nice to meet you” she smiles at her.

She sits on the bed and look around the room. A smile draws to her face because you is satisfied with what she sees. She decided to grab her bag and unpack. Yes, she's here for a vacation. Sandy met aunt Alicia in a charity event back in Seoul more than a year ago. Both of them were volunteers on a foundation for kids. Aunt Alicia is a nice person.

She has this aura in her that makes her comfortable and that makes her closer to her than to any other volunteers there. They enjoy having a chat together. She often talks about her daughter and son, her house and life in Busan. After that they often see each other whenever there’s an event. She always invite her to have a vacation on her house and Sandy just can’t find a time in her schedule but now. She brings out her laptop and carefully placed it at the top of the study table. It’s been a month since you open it.

Yes, there’sa problem. Sandy just can’t write..her mind is so blank and whenever she tries to type in something, nothing comes good. This is the first time she experience it and she is starting to worry. Before anyone could noticed this she decided to take a leave from work and this is the only place that comes to herr mind. Sandy is hoping that this vacation will help her to get in touch with her ideas again.To be able to write a new chapter for her new beginning…..
