Sandy's side of the story:

In a café

“I haven’t seen Julian hyung yet..” Kian answered when you asked him if he knows where Julian is.

“The last time I talked to him was when I visited him on the hospital.” He added.

“I see..”

“He’s not picking up his phone?”

Sandy shook her head. He can’t be reached. She tried to look for him on the possible places that she  thought he might be in. She also contacted some of their common friends but after two days, still no news on him.

“Don’t over think things sunbae..Nothing bad will happen to him.” Kian said in a comforting tone.     She didn’t say anything. Despite all the recent events, she still worry about him. After all, he’s her best friend.

“I’ll check out for him too so I’m going to call you right away if I get anything.”

“Thank you. I know how busy you are yet I’m bugging you like this.”

“What are you saying? sunbaes and hoobaes help each other.”

Jared's side of the story

He peeks at the office window. Sandy is sitting in front of her desk and doing something on her laptop. He called her without taking his eyes off.

“Hello?” she answered.

“Are you still busy?”

“Hm. I’m editing. I have a deadline tomorrow. How about you?”

“I’m done with office works…I want to hang out…”

“With Aidan and Keith?”

“Nope.”

“With whom then?”

“With a girl…”

Sandy stopped from typing on her laptop and her eyebrows furrowed.

“I think I’ll join her ‘till dawn” he added.

“Yah! Where are you?!”   He couldn’t contain his smile watching her getting her bag.

“I’m with my date..”

“Jared Kim, you better wait ‘till I see you!”   He entered the office smiling.

“I can’t wait so here I am.” He smiles sweetly at the dumbfounded Sandy.

“Why are you here? I told you earlier that I can’t go out because I have to finish this right?”

“I’m good at staying awake and I just figured out that you needed a company…”

“I can’t entertain you.”

“I’ll just wait here so do your work and don’t mind me.” He puts the dough nut box at the table.

“Midnight snack.” He says before settling on the chair in front of her desk.

She continued typing. Jared quietly stares at her.

“Okay…what is it?” She stopped and looks at him.

“I’m just thinking…you said on the phone that I should wait until I see you…now that I’m here, what are you going to do about it?” he says in a flirty tone while leaning against the desk.
