Sandy's side of the story

The nurses are rolling him to the operating room.

“Son, you will live…We will wait for you. I will wait for you.” Auntie is holding onto Julian’s hand. He blinked then gaze over her.

“Don’t worry…everything will be alright…you will be alright…I’ll be there when you open your eyes.” she said to him while holding his other hand tightly. He nodded.

                “Do you trust me?”

He nodded again.

“You could wait here…” The nurse informed them upon reaching the operation room door.

The doctors came out and they nodded as if saying “We’ll take it from here.”

Sandy smiled at him as she carefully let go of his hand. They were looking at each other ‘till the door close.

“Don’t worry. You have to be strong for Julian…” Sandy's mom holds onto Auntie who looks so nervous.

“He survived death once. He will make it..” her dad seconded.

Sandy looked at the wall clock. It’s 2pm. She has to go somewhere.

“Auntie…I’ll just leave for a while…I’ll be back before the operation finishes.” she said lifelessly.

“Sandy...Thank you so much...” She said as she holds her hand.

Sandy saw her mom nodded with an understanding expression in her eyes. She dragged her feet out of the hospital to go to the airport. Each minute seems so fast and she secretly pray that time will not move. Before she noticed, she was already standing in front of the receiving area. Her breathing became heavy.

Jared's side of the story

Airport

He just got out of the receiving area. Jared let his eyes wonder around to look for the face that he had been longing to see for days.

“She’s not here yet?” Keith says.

“I’m sure she’s on her way hyung.” Aidan says.

His phone rang.  He smiles as he saw whose calling. He took some steps away from the two before answering the phone.

                “Are you on your way?”

“Don’t wait for me…I won’t come.” She said shortly.

“Is that so? Alright…Keith’s driver is here anyway. I’ll just go to you. Are you in the office now?” He’s a bit disappointed that she couldn't make it like what she said but she might be very busy.

“You don't have to. I wouldn't want to see you anyway.”

“Huh?” He wonders if he heard it correctly.

“Just don't come and see me because I'm breaking up on you now.”

“W-hat? What are you...?” He doesn't know how to react on that.
