It Started with a Wedding

Jared's side of the story

                “Wah…..I have no idea that your life is getting this exciting hyung.” Aidan commented.

Jared’s eyes followed on what’s he looking at.  Sandy is in a distance with Allyson.

She really looks stunning on her dress. The wind gently blows some strands of her chestnut brown hair.

                “She’s beautiful…good enough reason to ditch us that night.” Keith tap his shoulder.

                “You are very lucky and she’s still available.”

                “Can’t believe it myself.” He smiled. The champagne glasses on their hands tinkled as they gently bumped it to one another for a toast.

Sandy's side of the story

                “So, how’s your new novel going, Sandy?” Keith asked. She swallowed your food first before answering.

                “I still have a lot to work on it but its good. By the way, Jared helps me a lot by touring me around for my research.” She smiled at him.

                “Actually, it’s good that you’re here in Busan at least, this guy could see other places aside from the office and their house.” Keith said pointing at Jared who’s sitting in front of her. A mild giggle comes out of her throat. She looks around the garden. Aside from them, there are lots of people invited. Its Aidan’s birthday and Jared brought them on his party.  He introduced her to his best friends, Aidan and Keith. Aidan is cute and funny while Keith is a charmer. The three friends are head turners. No wonder she has been noticing girls throwing eyes at them. Aidan is circulating the area greeting his guests.

                “Allyson, the music is good. Let’s dance.”

                “Sure!”Allyson and Keith go to the dance floor. That left her alone with Jared on the table.

                “Allyson seems to know them well.”

                “The three of us are long time friends. Before they live at Seoul, they use to visit our house a lot. Both of them have younger brothers. I’m the only one with a sister so they treat Allyson as a sister too.”

                “You have nice friends. It’s not hard to get along with them.” she looks at the two dancing happily. Sandy laugh seeing Keith doing a weird dance step making Allyson laugh.

                “Want to dance?”

                “I’m not really good with it..”

                “I’ll take that as a yes.” Before she could react on that he rose from his seat and grabs her by the hand. He leads her in the middle of the crowd.

                “Don’t mind others just let your body move on its own.” Jared started to dance. Sandy couldn’t help but smile. He looks so cute. She decided to move with the music too.

                “I thought you’re not fond of idols? This is a Kpop song.” she said talking about the song Time To Love by T-ARA and Supernova. The sound is so loud so Jared has to step a bit closer to hear her.

                “This is the first time I heard this song. Anyway, it’s not that bad.” He whispered to her ear while continuously dancing. He’s really good with it.  Earlier, Jared sang with  Keith and Aidan and honestly, she was impressed..He could sing and dance well, he’s very handsome too… he’s even better than with other popular Kpop idols she said to herself. She didn’t know how long they dance and laugh. Sandy finds it very enjoyable. After a while the music changed into a love song. Both of them looked at the people started to dance in couples. She can’t see Allyson and Keith on their spot. They didn’t go back to the table either. Where did they go?

                “Sandy…”Jaejoong reached out a hand. She hesitated for a moment but took his hand eventually. He puts her hands on his shoulders then his hands took their place around her waist.

                “You should have asked other girls to dance with you…” Sandy said awkwardly.

                “I don’t want to do dance with any of them..I’ll have one dance partner tonight..” He looked at her in the eyes. She panicked so she look around. She sees that people are eyeing the two of them.

                “People are looking at us..” she said in nervous voice.

                “Don’t mind them.” He holds her even more closely making the two of them appear to embrace than dancing. Sandy's face is just a few inches away from his chest.

                “Are you sure that you’re an architect? You could sing and dance well..”

                “That comes in handy at times like this.” He replied then they laughed gently together.

Sandy felt like her feet became useless and the only thing that keeps her balanced is his support.

Her heart flutters. Jared is so warm. His cologne scent makes her comfortable and her eyelids close naturally. She hate to admit it but she like being wrapped in Jared’s arms..

There's a man. Who loves you so much.

Could she hear my heart?Jared wonders if Sandy can feel that his heart beats in an unusual way right now. He closed his eyes. He likes the scent of her hair. She smells so sweet. God! He never liked a woman to be in his arms this bad. What is it with her that makes him act like this?

Sandy brings out this part of him. He feels things that he never felt before. He secretly wish that time would stop so she won’t need to leave his arms. He swallowed hard. Everything is clear now.
