"Everything is perfectly good with baby mendes. They are growing perfect, heartbeat is beautiful. Now let's talk about you mom. I know you've going through major morning sickness, how has the anti vomiting medication working?" Dr. Nazarene said as she removed the Doppler from my gel covered stomach.

It seemed to happen over night, i woke up and Karen noticed a small baby bump had just developed.

"Oh my goodness. Look at that." Karen gushed as she placed her hand over my now small bump with tear filled eyes.

She quickly snapped a photo and sent it to Shawn once she quit crying happy tears.

Now we were at the doctors for my last visit before me and Karen are off to LA for the next few weeks.

Karen cried more the moment she heard the baby heartbeat and saw the little cute peach sized fetus floating around in there.

"I'm honestly not sure if it's the medicine or not but I've been feeling better the last two days. Ive been able to eat more and hold my food down, so I'm thankful for that. I just want to make sure I am able to travel with no worries and everything with baby is okay." I said as I held Karen's hand over the small bump.

Dr. Nazarene smiled and pulled her long blonde hair behind her ear as she gave me and Karen thumbs up and checking my vitals once more.

"Well everything seems fine and you have all my permission to go on with your trip. I will say let's just keep an eye on your sugar levels. Healthy food choices should include vegetables, fruits, lean protein, low- fat dairy, legumes and whole grains." Dr. Nazarene said as she handed me a small pamphlet on healthy eating while pregnant.

Karen smiled and shook the doctors hand before she left to allow me to get dressed.

As I got off the table and started removing my gown Karen handed me my clothing.

"Are you hungry?"

I quickly laughed as if I haven't heard that for the past few days and every time she asked I always said yes with such delight.

She looked over at me and she started laughing along with me as she shook her head as if to say of course.

A Week Later.

*Seems the beautiful young couple are finally reunited after weeks of separation due to the duos work. Glad to see the married couple haven't let a little distance strain their three year marriage, but the biggest test is when Mendes leaves for the impending festival run in July. Despite speculation that Mendes himself has put his much highly anticipated album on hold. Rumors have been swirling that there might be a bun in the oven. When we last saw Mrs. Mendes she was wearing a larger then normal sized trench coat and she was practically glowing. But we all can agree Hollywood's most humble couple would indeed have a beautiful child.*

"I hate this! I hate it!" I yelled as I shut the tv off, slamming the remote beside me.

Shawn laughed as he pulled me closer into his arm, kissing my forehead a few times over till I laughed and held him face in my hand trying to stop him.

"Babe, it's just apart of the lifestyle. Stop worrying already. You're gonna upset little mendes." He said as he placed his hand over my stomach and rubbing it lightly.

I let out a sigh of surrender as I smiled watching his tattooed swallow hand caress the small bump under my slightly loose grey tee shirt.

I closed my eyes and nestled myself into his chest as I stretched my legs across our sectional sofa trying to get comfortable. Once I was more comfortable I knew I would be asleep in a matter of seconds, being in his arms or just near him always had the most calming and soothing affect over my body.

"Sleepy babe?" He asked softly as he removed his hand to pull me more into his chest.

I groaned the moment he moved himself.

I heard him chuckle lowly before I felt him pick me up bridal style making me jump and open my eyes.

"What are you doing?!" I huffed looking at my husband who just looked like a wax figured model while the sun kissed his flawless skin that peaked through our living room balcony.

"Bringing you to the bed that I spent thousands of dollars on. You're always crashing on the sofa, it's not good for your back or the baby." He said eyeing me as he scrunched his nose up with a smile.

Since I got back to LA, he was right. I would find myself crashing on the sofa more then the beautiful California king size bed that he did buy at my request when we first bought this condo two years ago.

"Is it cause your giraffe ass can't get comfortable on it with me ?" I poked at his tone chest with a smirk on my face.

"Yes, I'm to tall and you move to much." He laughed as he placed me in the middle of the comfortable bed.

I let out a sigh of approval as I laid down getting lost in the fluffiness of the comforter and pillows around me.

I patted his side for him to lay with me, he took his shirt off as he got on the bed and laid down tapping his chest for me to claim my spot beside him.

This was my favorite spot.

His chest.

Laying on his chest was like my ultimate sleep drug and he knew it.

All it took was for him to play with my hair and the sound of his breathing was all the soundtrack I needed.

"I've missed this." I whispered closing my eyes and taking his familiar scent in.

"I know baby. I've missed you pretty girl." He said into my hair before kissing it a few times.

I wrapped my arm around his stomach and pulled myself into him more as I kissed his chest softly.

He lifted my face up to his and our eyes met before we kissed softly.

He could always give me these butterflies and make my body practically melt.

"I love you." He said breaking our lips apart. He caresses my face in such a loving way.

"Promise?" I asked batting my eyelashes as I looked into his eyes.

He grinned and kissed my nose.

"Always and forever."
