After the overwhelming overpriced house visit the doctor did, Shawn decided we needed a family vacation. With her approval of course.

He called his parents and Aaliyah and we all equally agreed on Los Cabo, Mexico.

I was honestly shocked that he wanted to do this so last minute given how much he was invested in getting this album done.

But I wasn't going to be the one to complain honestly.

After having his parents meet us in LA, we spent the day going to Disney land where him and Karen both equally bought just about every baby item they could get their hands on.

We haven't told anyone that we were having a boy, we figured we surprise everyone.

Karen had an idea it was a boy, because according to her I was already almost five months and starting to show more but it was still unnoticeable, only because I opted out of my regular form fitting clothing.

Rumors began to swirl of there being a possible, "baby Mendes" on the way in the tabloids. We still wanted to keep this amongst family. But given the fact that we just spent an arm and leg in Disney on baby items, that would be enough confirmation.

Once we got to Mexico it was a sigh of relief.

We had some semblance of privacy and could feel like a normal married couple on a family vacation.

It was refreshing and I loved having everyone together for the sake of Shawn of course.

"I love you so much." Our hands were entwined together as we laid on the beach looking up at the beautiful night sky.

The stars were surrounding us, the sounds of the waves crashing on to the shore was the most soothing thing ever.

The water was always like a second home to me, and Shawn knew that.

These were the moments I wanted for us, always.

"I wish we could stay like this forever. I wish time would just stand still and we never had to leave this place." I spoke looking over at Shawn.

His eyes were closed as he took it the moment too.

"Me too baby." His lips spoke so softly.

I leaned over and I kissed his cheek softly, as I placed my other hand on his chest over his own hand.

His smiled became visible even in the dark and I swear every time I saw him laugh or smile with all his might I fell in love with him over and over again.

"God, I love you so much." I whispered, almost sure he didn't hear me.

He turned to face me, his hands on my belly.

"Oh yeah? How much?" He asked with a smirk.

"In this life and in every next life after."

He leaned in and kissed my lips, so softly with soo much love in it.

"I never would've though my life would end up like this. Here with you right now holding my child and carrying my last name. It always felt like this was a far off dream for me. My work was my life, music was my world. But then you came along." His hand held pressed against my cheek and he caressed me lightly.

His eyes sparkling in the moonlight and I couldn't find myself to look away.

He was beautiful.

"I'm glad you never stopped chasing after me." Tears filling my eyes.

He pressed his lips to my forehead, "Me too baby."

"You guys look refreshed. How's about some breakfast?" Karen chimed as we walked in holding hands into the restaurant of the hotel the next morning.
