Home.
We were finally back home.
It felt like forever since we had been home.
Two months to be exact and I couldn't be more happy to be home.
"Home sweet home." Shawn drooped our suitcases in our bedroom.
I kicked my shoes off and I went straight to the patio, I missed the beautiful view and the peace it gave me.
I sat by the fire pit getting comfortable and looking out at the beautiful Toronto view.
The CN Tower.
Shawn came out a few minutes after holding two mugs and my throw blanket over his shoulder.
"You know me too well." I spoke as I helped take the mugs from his hands and I sat towards the edge of the lounge chair waiting for him to claim his spot behind me.
"A traditional thing I suppose." He laughed as he went behind me and swing his leg over the other side and he sat down comfortably.
I scooted back till my back met with his chest. He nuzzled into my neck and I handed him his mug. Wrapping the blanket around us both he took his mug and we just sat there watching out the beautiful sky together.
"How are you feeling babe? I know you miss being on the road and making your music." I took a small sip of my hot chocolate, my eyes scanning around the beautiful patio that was ours.
He rubbed my hair lightly as he planted a light kiss.
"If you're asking me if I'm happy. I am Yvette."

I was cleaning the kitchen up after vacuuming the entire condo, I was on a cleaning spree.
I started going into this cleaning frenzy after reading one of those first time mother books.
Shawn came into the house, making me instantly drop one of the plates on the floor.
My nerves where just insane.
"Fuck!" I shouted, making Shawn run towards me with his duffel bag swinging off his shoulder.
"Are you okay?!" He knelt down to help me clean the broken glass.
I let out a huge huff and I started to cry.
"Shit, babe. It's okay it's just a glass. We can replace that." He tried to calm me down.
I stood up and I started sobbing harder, "So things are just that replaceable!"
He took the larger pieces that were in his hands and he stood up walking to the trash and throwing them out.
"That's not what I mean— babe, I'm just saying it's an object we can replace..." he hesitated to finish as he walked over to get the sweeper and clean the rest of the mess.
