04: Yuni part 03

Mother and I lived happily at the outskirts of Liaden Hall, a town located near the border between Aldalia and Forgeborn.

Despite being poor we lived happily. Father was a staff officer, he is kind and gentle, always having a smile on his face. Or at least what my mother told me.

During the war, Father was stationed at Baradul Fort, he died during an attack by the Ikinawa army on the fortress.

Upon hearing news about my Father's death, Mother fell into a state of depression, she placed all the blame on Akari Ikinawa, leader of the Ikinawa army.

I was still a young toddler when my father died, I had no memories about him, nonetheless I still yearned to meet him, talk to him.

A civil war occurred during the end of the Forgeborn war, some nobles began to defect to the newly established Hakuroku Kingdom.

Baron Lidel, whom governs Liden Hall tried to defect, but the neighbouring lord whom is a count, caught wind of his actions, saw this as an opportunity to gain the favour of the emperor, whilst expanding his domain.

The Baron and a few others were charged with treason, a subjugation army was mustered, their tasked with subduing the lords near the border.

Laiden Hall was burned to ashes, the Baron family was executed, many citizens where captured by the count's men, only to be treated as lab rats. All the missing citizens were covered up by the crown, Blaming everything on the rebels from the north.

During our time in the research facility, the researchers injected us with blood-like substance, my body feels hot, it feels like I'm burning up.

Many experiments were conducted, our limbs were ripped apart, only to regenerate few minutes later, we were stabbed, slashed and impaled by multiple weapons.

Many died from these experiments, until on mother and I were remaining.

It was unbearable, the pain nearly drove me mad.

This repeated cycle occurred everyday. Desperately I cried for help, screamed at the top of my lungs.

Yet none came to save me. I gave up and accepted the fact that this is my fate until I die like the rest.

After every experiment mother was always there to comfort me. She always tells me in a gentle tone.

"Someone will come and save us, promise."

Our suffering under the hands of the count's men continued. The experiments became more harsher for three weeks.

Until the Arsel rebels, launched an attack on the laboratory.

The rebels were from the now conquered kingdom of Ashwell, while both forces clashed against each other, Mother saw this as an opportunity, using a barbed wire she's been hiding for a long time, mother successfully opened our cages, we used this commotion and escaped the facility.

After leaving the laboratory I felt something strange, It left like I'm slowly becoming less human with each passing day.

I began craving human blood,
strange visions filled my head, my hands grew sharp and deadly claws, my ears became pointy, a pair of sharp fangs grew on my teeth. I became a true monster.

The Count sent pursuers to capture the both of us, after a week if running without stopping, our pursuers finally caught up with us.

I nodded and ran, whilst rest of the pursuers chased my mother. I crouched and covered my mouth, hoping that our pursuers wouldn't fine me.

Realizing my mother's intentions I tried running after her, I ran and ran, faster and faster.

How could I be dumb, mother clearly lured our pursuers away from me, I swear I'll save you.

Upon exiting the field of grass, a man sitting beside a tree, clad in armour saw me, he grabbed his spear and chased after me.

My body was weakened for days without food, yet I ran as fast as I could, eventually however I was caught, I was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen.

Sharp pain fills my body, blood slowly left my body, I knew deep down that I have little time left in this world, I slowly began to lose consciousness.

3rd person POV

After passing out from her stab wounds, the man grabbed Yuni, however his arm was grabbed by Yuni, with all her might Yuni ripped the man's arm from his body, sharp claws grew

After Yuni lost consciousness her pursuer grabbed her hand, but instead his armed was grabbed by Yuni, with great strength Yuni ripped man's arm of his body, sharp claws grew within Yuni's hands.

Bloodlust took over as Yuni mercilessly ripped and teared the man to pieces.

The man did his best to fight back and resist Yuni, but it was all futile.

His legs were torn off, his neck bitten hardly, his body jerked as his consciousness slowly fades to nothingness.

After killing the man Yuni began ripping the man to shreds until the corpse was no longer recognizable. Upon using up all her strength Yuni passed out.
