Normal PoV(3rd Person)

Somewhere in the forest of Elafas.

"Boss we've found some new potential victims. A group of six, three women and three men, one seemingly of high social status."

A man whom clocked in black reported, the man whom was referred to as Boss stood up, he picked up a Scimitar and shouted.

"Lads we have found some new prey, prepare to move out."

Around fifty people gathered, all wearing tattered clothing, with rusted swords strapped on their hips.

Ange's PoV

I've been accompanying Lady Akane for quite a while, she an interesting person.

I've only known her for less than a month, yet I already know many things about her.

She's an interesting girl indeed, you can read her thoughts like a book with her facial reactions.

Akane is talented in military strategy, always having a plan and backup plan, despite them being reckless.

"Are you sure this is gonna work?"

I asked, uncertainty filled my mind, however upon noticing the confident look on her face, that doubt disappeared.

"Yes it'll work."

She had unweaving confidence that made me admire her, she's also really thoughtful, even though my subordinates are prisoners of war, they've received good food and treatment or their injuries.

Some may think she's too soft, I doubt that. She is kind, but she is also cunning, She'll do everything in her power to win.

We boarded the carriage and left the village, Akane unsheathes both her arming sword and wakizashi. She turned to me and asked.

"Aren't you going to sharpen your weapon?"

I shook my head, turning to the weapon strapped on my hips. A rapier.

"This is only a side arm, my weapon is over there."

I pointed at the halberd beside Yuni. Akane looked at me is surprise and asked.

"You can lift that? Isn't it heavy?"

I nodded and replied.

"It is, however after years of training, I can move it around with ease."

Akane clapped her hands and asked.

"If you have some free time, would you mind if I took lessons from you Ange?"

"Of course!"

Akane's PoV

I noticed something strange, it's too quiet, as if we're being followed, I looked around and saw the silhouettes of people from a far.

"Stop, turn around!"

I told the coachman and turned to the Ange, she nodded and picked up her halberd.

"Is there something wrong miss?"
