"We are approaching the bridge, Doctor, please be prepared. The Winter Soldier is already onsite taking care of the problem," the doctor was suited up, her hair braided up into a bun, and her face mask keeping her from responding to anyone except for through the com inside her ear.

Suddenly, the doctor could hear the gunfire, and the van came to a screeching halt, allowing her to use the momentum to jump out of the side and roll onto the concrete, standing and racing towards where the Winter Soldier was, only to see him get knocked to the ground, a bullet cracking his goggles. He removed them quickly before standing and noticing that the doctor had arrived.

"I have her. Find him," he said into the com in Russian before suddenly jumping off of the bridge and down to the fight below. Before she could say anything else, she watched as three men grabbed grappling hooks to join him before turning and watching Winter head off into the distance. She suddenly heard someone behind her, and she noticed an African American man who was working for her targets coming towards her with a knife. He took out one of the operatives before taking the gun and pointing it at the doctor, who had hers pointed at him.

They both fired at the same time, with the doctor jumping behind a car, being forced to ignore the massacre of her men below, all who were yelling into the com for backup.

They engaged in an intense firefight on the bridge, with the man only pausing to say something to the male target. The doctor, at that moment, rushed the African American man when suddenly she felt something hit her eye and her lens shattered. The doctor no longer was able to analyze and predict her targets' motives.

He came at her, his knife still in hand, but miraculously the doctor placed a well-timed kick to his groin and placed her hand on his shoulder before knocking him out. Instead of killing him, she heard an explosion down the street that startled her into action. She raced down the bridge before jumping off and down onto the street. As she was running, she noticed that her target was running the same direction ahead of her.

He was incredibly fast, and he carried his shield as an extension of his body. She grabbed the gun strapped to her back and shot at him, gaining his attention. He used his shield to stop the bullets before throwing it at her as she approached him.

She dodged the shield and ran at the target. He fought back, but she was quickly beginning to realize that he was stronger and faster than her. She had to get her hand latched onto him so that she could use her powers to tear apart his skin and muscles.

She suddenly jumped on top of him and pressed her hand to his neck, trying desperately to concentrate on the carotid artery, but she was suddenly thrown off of him, hitting her head hard on an abandoned car window before landing on her side on the ground.

She was stunned just long enough for the target to grab his shield and stand over her, trapping her beneath him.

"Stay down, soldier," he said before taking his shield and knocking her unconscious.

The next thing she knew, she felt herself being scooped up by someone and thrown into a van that sped away from the scene. She tried fighting them, but she was too dizzy from the concussion, and with the broken lens, she could barely see.

She felt herself being dragged into the room, where she found herself being supported by none other than the Winter Soldier. He seemed confused and distracted, continuing to stare at her while she began to regain her footing.

Once she had completely regained consciousness, she realized that he was injured, and she reached to take his hand so that she could use her powers to heal his wounds, but he didn't acknowledge her. She finally grabbed his hand and fixed the bruising and cuts on his nonmetal arm before nudging him.
