Elizabeth came to moments later, but everything was still black. She felt intense pain coming from her right eye, her human eye. As she felt around the battlefield, her vision completely gone, thunder rippled overheard, and she knew that something was wrong. She could hear a faint noise of people crying and wailing, and she shouted out for Bucky, even though the pain in her eye was searing through her skull, but she couldn't even hear him, or Steve, or any of her friends.

"Bucky? Steve?" She shouted. She heard someone moving towards her quickly and she took up her gun, only to be shouted at by a familiar voice

"Lizzie, oh thank god, Lizzie," it was Steve. She let the gun clatter to the ground and listened to him rush over to her and gather her in his arms, and he squeezed her tightly.

"What happened, Steve? What the hell just happened?" Elizabeth asked, clutching tightly to her brother as he held her. She felt him take a deep breath and stiffen up, and she knew what his answer would be.

"We lost, Lizzie. Thanos- he did it," Steve whispered.

"No. No we can't have lost, we can't-" she felt Steve tense up even more. "Steve, where is Bucky?"

"Lizzie- I- I'm so sorry-" Steve began to cry.

"No. No, he's not gone," Elizabeth said, struggling in Steve's grasp. "Bucky? Bucky?" She yelled.

"Liz, he's gone, I watched him disappear," Steve said, grabbing her even tighter.

"No, he-" Elizabeth trailed off as an intense pain ran through her and she yelped, clutching to where her eye should have been.

"We have to get you medical attention, Lizzie, come on," Steve said, standing and hoisting her up, yelling to someone for medical attention. Elizabeth decided not to fight him, the shock of pain running through her became increasingly more intense. She was carried a long distance before she could hear doors being opened and she was led somewhere, most likely the Wakandan medical center. It was incredibly loud in the area, and she could barely hear what Steve was saying to someone.

She finally could hear as the loud voices quieted as she was taken away from the main area.

"Where am I?" She finally asked Steve.

"Wakandan medical center. You're in your own room. There's a doctor in here with us too," Steve said, setting her down on what felt like a lab table. She scooted back until the doctor's voice floated to her.

"Hello Elizabeth, I'm going to look at your eye-" she was cut off when Steve muttered something about checking on other people and promised Elizabeth that he would return shortly. She heard the door open and close, and she knew that she was alone with the doctor.

"I'm going to touch your face now," the doctor said before her hands came to take Elizabeth's chin into her hands. She tilted Elizabeth's head back to examine.

"I'll be able to replace it, don't worry. Wakanda has the best medical technology in the world."

The doctor then informed her that she was about to do a body scan to check for injuries. The hum of the machine passed over Elizabeth's exhausted body when suddenly the doctor spoke.

"Dr. Rogers, did you know that you were pregnant?"

Elizabeth froze for a moment, her hand running down her chest to her stomach.

"I know," Elizabeth whispered. "I've known for a few weeks. Is there something wrong?"

"No, no, Doctor, I was just checking. Now I'm going to quickly get to work on your eyes. You should be all set in a few hours."
