"What?" Kati mumbled.
"Kati, oi, earth to Kati!" Eliza tried to call her.
"Hmmm?" She eventually looked at her sister.
"Well, you've been acting weird and you randomly said "what" while looking at your feet. Is there something wrong with them?" Eliza raised an eyebrow and I couldn't help but smile.
She's too cute.
"Huh? Oh well I didn't notice." The teen shrugged.
"You're lying." Eliza stated.
"Yeah, I know, but even if I am lying you're supposed to leave me alone for the moment and ask me about it when we're alone 'Liza. That's how things work." She argued.
"Alright, alright, sorry." My bond replied, smiling.
I sensed the air around us and felt a bond connecting them. I couldn't help but chuckle. I felt him stare at me, which made me burst out laughing.
"Are you alright?" Eliza asked me.
"Yup, I'm alright." I said, laughing. I then turned towards him. "And you, serves you right for making fun of me. Welp I'm going to take my leave now." I got up and kissed Eliza's forehead before walking away from them. I heard him following me.
"Why did you say that?" Shi bumped my shoulder. I was still chuckling.
"Payback." I shrugged.
"You're so annoying." He pouted. I stopped dead in my track.
"Who's annoying, now?" I raised an eyebrow, containing my laughter.
"Alright, you're an annoying teasing bastard." He shot.
"Bastard? No. Annoying? No. Teasing? Yeah." I replied, smiling smugly.
"Okay, but I didn't say anything in front of her!" He argued.
"I said nothing!" I chuckled.
"Tch" Shi crossed his arms and I noticed a faint tint of pink on his cheeks. I chuckled.
"You're a lucky dude though, getting your bond so young, like I didn't have a bond, two years ago!" I complained.
"What, you would have preferred to have a bond earlier, but her not being Eliza?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"That is not what I said!" I replied, emphasizing on the negation.
"Okay, okay. I don't even know her much though... and I'm probably going to be scared. I'm scared when anyone other than you approaches me. Then, I act like an asshole." He whined.
"Hey, hey, she's your bond, you're going to get to know her, you're going to get to trust her and you're going to get to love her. A bond is never wrong, you know that as much as I do." I reassured him.
"You're right, I guess." Shi sighed.
"I guess? No! I am right!" I smirked.
He shook his head in disbelief.
"How can you make fun of every situation possible?" He asked.
"I don't know dude, see the positive in life!" I dramatically swirled around.
"And now you sound like the princess who needs a knight in shining armour." He chuckled.
"Uh, I'm sorry, I am a fully independent princess who needs no knight." I sassed him.
We both bursted out laughing. We continued walking towards his office, teasing each other. Well, mostly me teasing him for getting a bond. The second we entered his office, I threw myself on the couch and he sat crossed-legged on his desk, something we always did whenever we were in that place.
"Want me to be your wingman?" I suddenly asked.
"What?"
"Want me to be your wingman?" I repeated, smiling expectantly.
"Tch, no, you're gunna be weird." He deadpanned.
"Hey! I'm just tryna repay the favour! You're not even gunna be able to talk to her! And you said it yourself, you might get rude! You need a wingman!" I explained, making a lot of hand gestures.
He shook his head, sighing.
"Sure, alright, but mess it up, I mess your face." He threatened.
"You won't be able to." I smirked sheepishly.
"Trust me, I am." He narrowed his eyes.
"Anyway, you can't mess up a bond!" I tried to prove my point.
"Exactly why I don't need you to help." He replied.
"Alright, you egoful, hormonal teenager." I raised my hands in defeat.
"Pretty sure egoful isn't a word but sure." He winked.
"Okay then, smartass." I shrugged.
Shi opened his mouth to reply, but was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Enter." He called out.
Eliza opened the door and walked in like she owned the place, her sister following her, sending us questioning glances.
"Why did you abandon us?" She looked at me.
"Gee, stop being a drama queen, where are your friends?" I asked
"Jules and Zack? Went back to their room. Ya know, they're still kinda not too easy around ma boy Shi." I rolled my eyes at her.
"Well, Liza, I have something to show you. Mind to come with me?" I winked at Shi.
"Huh? Why?" Eliza tilted her head to the side.
"I needa show you something." I replied, smiling.
"Umm, sure, but Kati isn't familiar with the place, can we go drop her off first?" She asked.
"Shi can take care of that, come on." I smirked.
"Okay, sure." She seemed to understand my message.
We left Shi's room and walked around for a while until Liza turned to me.
"What'd you wanna show me?" She smiled.
"Nothing. Just doing my role as a wingman." I shrugged.
"Wingman? Why?"
"Why not?" I smirked.
"It's that smirk again! What is it?" She complained.
"Wait, you really don't know?" I raised an eyebrow.
"No, I really don't know."
"You really, really don't know?"
"No, I really, really don't know! Stop that and tell me!" She argued.
"Alright, alright, but like you actually, really-"
"No! I don't! You better tell me before I make you!" She cut me off.
"You'll make me?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I'll make you."
"We all know how that went the first time."
"Oh, will you just shut your trap and tell me?" She shoulder bumped me.
"How am I supposed to tell you if I shut my trap?"
She shot me a glare.
"Alright, alright, they're bonded." I told her.
"They're what?"
