I pull my hair into a side braid, tying it off with an F/C scrunchie that I found at the bottom of my backpack. It's raining this morning, cold and foggy. The small droplets of rain make a calming noise as they land on the sunlight right above me. Everything seems okay. For once.

A Dark Angel

I have never heard of them, but, an Ultima sounds familiar. Almost like I've heard it from somewhere before. All of a sudden, I feel light-headed, stumbling onto the floor.

"Y/N time to-" The door opens as I quickly stand up, colors swirling around my vision. Aaron stands in the doorway with his brows furrowed. "Go..." He looks around. "Are you okay?"

"U-uh yeah! Just-" I bend down picking up my new shoes. Black vans. "Looking around for my shoe." I lie. His eyes wander around the room.

"Hurry it up then," He lets go of the door handle. His footsteps receding down the stairs. I slide on my shoes quickly, stumbling around my room in the process. I grab my backpack and walk out the door, turning the lights off.

"Here you go, Y/N," Rachel hands me a piece of bread as I reach the bottom step. "Should've gotten up earlier." She pats my shoulder and walks off. I hold the piece of toast in my hand, debating whether or not I should it.

A piece of bread that's been in the toaster is about one-hundred calories, probably shouldn't eat that.

And what if I do?

Well, you'll just get fatter and fatter and fatter-

Okay okay!

I look around and find and find a plate of toast, probably for Derek. So, I slip the food onto the stack and follow Aaron out the door.

Wonder if anyone has cared that I've been gone for so long?

"Y/N!" I hear from down the hallway, something impacts with my body and I can tell, it's Aphmau, squeezing the life out of me. "I missed you!"

"Aw, Aph, I missed you too." I gently hug her back  "I was only gone for a couple days, why are you so worried?"

"I'm always worried when I don't see my friends for a while, plus, Garroth was worried too." She smiles.

"Wait, what?" I furrow my brows.

"Nothing!" She squeaks. I cross my arms and she chuckles nervously. "I said nothing!" She runs off. I chuckle and shake my head, pulling my lock off my locker door. I set my backpack on the hanger and hear a thud next to me, I jump but see nothing. Only black shoes, that someone in particular only wears. Ivy.

"So you're still alive," I hear her mutter. "You'd been gone for so long, I had thought you ended your misery." she scoffs.

"Well, trust me," I place a book on my shelf. "If I could I would."

"Ginny's father got out of jail." I close the locker door and look at her, wanting her to leave me alone. "The case didn't go to trial because it had no proof." Lies, Ginny watched me get beat, she just doesn't care about me.

"Okay, why are you telling me this, not like I care, I'm out of that home." I roll my eyes, taking out my stuff for first period.

"Well," She checks her nails. "Just warning you, Ginny doesn't care if she gets expelled. You almost threw her father in Prison, she'll beat you to a pulp."
