GARROTH
The date is going unbelievably well.
(Y/N) is comfortable and joyful, and as long as she remains like that, I'm also very happy.
What seemed to make me happier was the news of her adoption. Fourteen years in the foster system to finally find her family.
The time period seemed suspiciously quick, but I pushed that aside and remained delighted for her.
Everything she had gone through since she got to Phoenix Drop, and even before, finally led her to the moment she could have what she deserved.
A chance of being loved and cared for by people who wanted her.
She hasn't told me entirely about her experiences in the system, but I don't care honestly.
It's her decision on whether or not she wants to tell me, and whenever she's ready I'm all ears.
My goal is to get to know her before anything. Our relationship is still young, and hopefully lasts however long we enjoy each other, so there's no need to rush things.
Besides, not only is the relationship young, we are young, which plenty of time. Again, hopefully.
I help her onto the chair, making sure she doesn't trip over the step.
Once we're buckled into the machine and it starts moving, she swiftly grabs my hand out of fear from the jolt it causes.
Heat rises to my face as she does so, softly smiling as I entwine our fingers together.
She's gotten a lot bolder and comfortable since I first met her; I remember when she would stutter a lot, and run off if she got embarrassed.
Things I still do, unfortunately.
Anyways, some part of me misses the old her, but another enjoys this version. Especially because the old (Y/N) definitely wouldn't allow me to kiss her in public.
Her kisses are pure ecstasy. Between her warm and soft lips, and the delicate pressure she applies, I have completely fallen for them.
I have to suppress the urge to make any noises when they touch.
It makes me wonder if she feels the same way about me. I could only hope.
It seems hope is being applied to everything I do, aspiring to make her content with my actions.
So far, I believe I'm doing good.
The wheel comes to a stop when we're just two spots away from the very top, the both of us making a surprised noise, then laughing.
"Wow," Her eyes rest above us, staring up at the sky. I tilt my head upwards to see what she's looking at. "Look at all the constellations,"
I've never been very focused on astronomy, let alone looking at constellations in the night sky. I truly have no idea what I'm looking at besides millions of dots sparkling in the sky.
She seems to take notice of my confusion, chuckling as she takes my hand gently and holds it above me. "Place it into an L-shape," I do as she says, not understanding. "See the star at the top of your index finger?" My eyes squint, focusing in on the one bright star above us.
"Yeah,"
"Beside it, you'll see two smaller ones," She sounds intent on getting me to see what she is, so I focus just for her. "That is Orion's Belt, part of the Orion the Hunter constellation. If you look closely, you can see his full form. Bow and all." She releases my hand, setting her arm behind me.
