8. I Hate Him - Part 4

[Maheera Khan]

"Darshan I'm asking where are you?"

"Maheera wo...where are you?", he asked me back.

"Library"

"Can you please come to the canteen?"

"I'm coming.", I hung the phone up and walked to the canteen.
I reached the canteen and found Darshan there. I went toward that table and sat next to him.

I slammed my palm on the table and said, "5 days, You are missing from 5 days Darshan. You can't even imagine how much worried we were for you. Where the fuck were you went that you couldn't even inform us?"

"Clam down Maheera. Take a breath first. You don't have to worry about me that much. I'm fine. Okey.", he said in a clam voice.

"No I can't be ok. And I have to worry about it. Where were you?", I again asked. He lowered his head.

"Wo...Maheera...no where. Leave the topic na. Now I'm here."

I sighed and tried to clam myself.
"Ok so you're not telling me. That's fine. Do what ever you want.", I stood up to leave.

"Maheera listen, Mahi....", he called me but didn't turn. I straight went to my hostel room. I didn't know why I was feeling very angry on him. I sat on the bed and started crying. I didn't even know why the hell I was crying for? Because of that stupid Darshan. Who was he? Why I was crying for him?

The door clicked and someone came inside. I looked up and saw Sia there. I turned my eyes. Because I wanted to hide my tears from her.

"Mahi hey what happened? Why are you crying?", she sat next to me. I wiped my tears and remained quiet.

"Is everything fine? Are you feeling sick? Tell something. Mahi tell something. I'm fucking worried man.", she yelled.

"Darshan came back!", I told slowly.

"So? It isn't any reason to cry.", she said.

"He didn't tell me the reason. I was worried so much about him and he said what 'leave that topic' like really? How cloud be he so careless?", I complained.

"Did you worry for him?", she asked softly.

"Of course I did and I still do worry for him.", I wiped my tears.

"But why Mahi?"

"Because....", I stopped and looked her. She was waiting for an answer.

"Because?", she again asked.

"I don't know!", I looked away.

"Oh my God Mahi! You are so stupid. You can't understand or you don't want to understand?"

"Sia please not again...."

"What please? Go to Darshan and confess that you love him. Go!", she said.

She pulled me by my hand and stared to push.

"But Sia...", I tried to say something but she stopped me and said, "No buts. Go now.", she almost threw me from the room and closed the door of the room.
I looked at my wrist watch.

Lunch time was over. I went to the canteen. No, he was not there. I called him. He didn't pick up the phone. May be he was in his class. I didn't have any class now so I went to the library.

As I entered to the library my eyes found him. He was reading a book. Like really? Darshan and book? The library was almost empty. I looked at the librarian. She passed me a smile. And I smiled back. I took any random book and went to Darshan.
