I paused the cooking tutorial video on YouTube and just hoped this would work this time. I stepped into Maanav's most precious place clutching my heart - kitchen. I turned halfway as I got the weird smell.

Is something burning?

Of course something was burning - my pizza. HOLY SHIT. I switched off the microoven immediately then hurried to take the tray out of it.

"JIYAAAAA."
I knew this was coming. Maanav came from his bedroom or may the dining space, I didn't know. He rushed into the kitchen while trying to find the source of the smell.

"What are you doing?", he asked furiously. His eyes went to my burnt pizza then travelled back to my face.

I am done today.

"What were you trying to do?", he asked again.

"I wanted to eat something.", I replied in a soft voice.

"I was in the house, no? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I wanted to make it by my own."

"You mean you wanted to mess my kitchen by your own.", he said looking all around. Fine, it was a little messed up, not that much.

"Why do you have to do the thing you can't? And pizza? Did you ever make a pizza by your own? Why didn't you simply order it."

"Dude, I know you are a great cook but you don't have to insult me like this ha. I used to cook for myself too. Now I live here with a qualified cook so I don't need to do that anymore. But I really wanted to cook pizza from a long time. It was not my fault. There's some problem with your microoven.", I said in no more a soft voice, back to my own.

Maanav glared at me, one eyebrow raised, "Really?"

The doorbell rang. God sent someone to save me from Maanav, thank you god, I love you.

I walked to the door. Ekart. My order from flipkart was here. I ran to bring my purse. I paid the delivery boy, he passed a smile and told me to give the feedback before leaving. I smiled back with a node.

Then my eyes went straight to the next door which was used to be my home, forget it. The boy from that day shifted in on the next day only as he said. Two days passed after that, I didn't see him again then.

The door was open. I could see glances of him as he was walking to one side to another while talking on the phone.

I heard Maanav was telling me something from inside which I couldn't hear apparently. After a while he turned his face towards mine and our eyes met. Oh, this shouldn't had happened. He passed a smile while waving his right hand. I narrowed my eyes then shut the door in the next moment.

I came back to the dining space and placed the delivery package on the table.

"What did you order?", Maanav asked from the kitchen. When I didn't reply he asked again, "What happened?"

"Nothing. I saw that jerk.", I sat down on the couch crossing my legs.

I heard Maanav's chuckle. "Why don't you like him?"

"Because there's no reason to like him.", I gave him a 'ovio' look, "Forget it. I am hungry. Make something no?", I pouted.

"Oye first clean this mess then anything else.", he ordered.

"Maanav I'm your guest.", I told.

"Oh come out of this misconception.", He said.

"MAANAAAVV!", I made a cute face.
