Chapter 3 - Favourite

"My highness, princess Chaeyoung is here," said the guards from outside.

King Myoui give a puzzled expression to Mina, "Why would princess Chaeyoung come to see me?"

Mina already smiling there, "I have no idea, father"

King Myoui chuckles, "but your face doesn't say same the thing, Haahah, Come in!"

Mina put off her smile she has been wearing, and keep a straight face. Chaeyoung enter the chamber and bowed, "King Myoui, I would like to ask permission from your highness"

"what is it? let me hear it"

"Can I borrow princess Mina for a while?"

King Myoui smiled and turns his head to her daughter, teasingly give Mina a smile, "But we are going back soon, dear"

"oww" Chaeyoung's face drastically changed to disappointed, but tried to smile afterwards, "Thank you for your visit, my highness, please visit the Son Kingdom again in the future"

Seeing her precious daughter, Mina was also disappointed, King Myoui decided to stay for a while, "I'm just kidding, dear" "you can take her all day if you want"

Chaeyoung brings her outside the princess chamber and there is only one plant which Mina never saw before,

"Here it is! my beloved strawberry plant" Chaeyoung proudly present the plant.

Mina look around, "Just one?"

"yes, my mom planted this for me!"

"you said you have a garden in the palace,"

"That was a long time ago, my mom left me when i was young, so i keep replant this strawberry"

"I'm sorry to hear that" Mina pressing her lips firmly.

Poor chae...

"Well, it's okay now, she lives forever in my heart" Chaeyoung open a basket full of strawberries.

"Here! take some"

"I still have strawberries chae, i showed you yesterd—"

Chae pulled out the pouch from Mina, and fill it with the strawberry from the basket, "Share it with your brothers and sisters"

Mina was touched by her kindness, sharing her favourites, in the royal life, usually children don't share their favourites or fight over their favourites or fight over the throne when they get older...

"umm, you're so kind Chae, thank you"

Chaeyoung chuckles, "Hahahah, sharing is happiness!!"

Mina only smiled at how cheerful Chaeyoung was.

They both went back to the Royal guest chamber.

"Thank you for your kindness, my highness, I had fun with princess Mina, do visit the Son Kingdom again," Chaeyoung bowed happily.

"don't worry my dear, we promise will come again" King Myoui chuckles.
