Chapter 21 - Chaeyoung's POV

Chaeyoung was strolling around the palace with Nererri.

"does this hairpin looks good?"

Chae asked her opinion about the new hairpin she got, then later brag about Mina buying it for her, how happy she was for having someone to buy stuff for her.

"Ouch!" Chae rubs her head back.

My head really hurts seconds ago,

Nererri startled of her sudden action, "Is there something wrong, princess? are you sick? headache?"

"I felt like, something hit my head just now" Chae still rubbing her head back, Something is not right, I really have a bad feeling right now, something is not right...

The cub starts to worry about Mina, "Nerreri, have you ever heard about soulmates?" 

"yes, when I was small, my parents told me about the soulmates thingy"

"for example A and B, so if A was hurt do B feel it too?"

"if I remember it well, the answer is yes"

Chae stands up, "okay now prepare yourself we are going to check the path to the Myoui kingdom, I want to make sure they are safe, do prepare my weapons too,"

They secretly get out from the Son Kingdom by wearing dark colour attire and even a weird mask to cover their identity. Heading towards the forest and they find out there is more than one path.

"Nerreri, use your smelling ability to track them,"

"Yes, princess" Nererri jump down from her horse and sniff the ground, between the three paths, "They should be going this way"

"Let's go" Chae pulls the rope and go ahead the way Nerreri said.

As Chaeyoung follow her bodyguard lead, she zoned out a little while keep thinking of what might happen if the pain she felt before is really from Mina.

"Princess, did you see that!?"

"huh?" Chaeyoung turns her head.

Nererri jumps down and approaches the suspicious stain on the ground, surprised when she getting closer and saw it clearly.

"PRINCESS, IT'S BLOOD!!"

Chaeyoung startled and jump down, hurriedly ran to the stain to confirm what Nerreri said.

Blood?? MINA'S BLOOD??? What if... what if...

"N-nerreri now try to identify if that Mina's b-blood" Chaeyoung started to panic.

Nererri sniff closely to the blood but does not lick it, "No, it's not, it's definitely not her blood, I think..., Its Nayeon's blood"

Nayeon!? So they were AMBUSHED again!? That black... DAMN Black Falcon Clan!

"Hurry Nerreri, we gotta rush,"

Both of them get on their horses and go as fast as they can while following the blood trace.
