Chapter 52 - dinner talk

[ Mina's chamber ]

Dubu came alone, he starts to get a bit nervous while standing in front of the door, Hesitating to knock, hoping Mina wouldn't push him away this time.

I can do it!

*door open

He was startled when the door slide opened from inside, now Mina is in front of him, staring at him.

"oh, you're here" Mina averted her eyes.

"y-yes!" Dubu was relieved to hear that tone, used to be filled with harsh and irritated tone, is Mina back already? "d-do you want to have dinner,, to-together??"

Mina slightly nods her head, then go inside, leaving him at the door.

Dubu now smiling ear to ear, is God answering to my prayer??

"i'll be back!!!" Dubu speedily dash all the way to the kitchen, which actually running is not allowed without any emergencies in the royal area, yet he doesn't care, he was so happy right now.

[ Royal Kitchen ]

He barged in the kitchen, the door was banged to the wall, everyone was shocked to see the King is here, and additionally, his surprising attitude right now, which they froze and forgot to bow.

"prepare a dinner for me and my sister!" :)

[ Mina's chamber ]

Dubu brings the food by himself, "Mina-yah, can i come in?"

"yes"

Since his hands are full, He uses his foot to slide the door open and went inside.

Mina was sitting nicely on the floor chair, waiting for him to bring the dinner, not calling him or what, doesn't plan to speak first.

Dubu place the food on the table and he proceed to sit down, "let's eat first," Mina then takes the chopsticks and start to eat, Dubu followed suit. 

Silence engulfed them, he was okay with it, respecting her for not ready to share, he could wait.

Time surely will make her talk,

Mina, whose mind was blank, denying anything related to Chaeyoung, which she doesn't want to think about it, but too many question marks in her head that left her in a puzzled state. Until she unconsciously finished her food. 

"hyung,," Mina muttered.

Dubu still chewing the food, noticed Mina finished her food, "that was fast, yes?"

"you can't marry.., Son Chaeyoung," Mina averted her eyes.

"why do you say so?" He innocently asked.

Mina internally sighs, "she is- dead."

"?!!!" Dubu force himself to swallow all the food in his mouth, "dead??"

"she is gone, no more" Mina muttered.

"did you mean the real died? umm.. you mean legit dead???" Dubu frowned, a bit confused.

Mina nodded her head.

"wa..., that was unexpected, no wonder you were so, umm.. like that, because you lost your,, umm, and i'm so sorry for keep asking you tell me" Dubu apologized.

"me too, sorry for pushing you away, it just... i was too,, i am jealous about you and Chaeyoung" Mina looked away again.

"me and Chaeyoung? what's wrong with us??" Dubu asked, trying to find the root of the problem.
